its too early for me to start dating, ive met this girl, who happened to be the police officer at the scene of my wifes death. I think she likes me to. Do you think i should ask her on a date, or is it best to wait until the funeral is over. I cant stop thinking about her, she has the most beautiful eyes.

I mean come on you got your walking papers the second your EX old lady went nose to nose with the 3:05...am I right? So I say it's time to get on with it. That sounds like a very good idea ,after all you are a single man now with no ties!Really it is best to get on with your life and there is no point in crying and causing upset to everyone by being miserable about your wifes selfish act!!I am sure the police officer will be very flattered and impressed by your gallantry and romantic gesture by inviting her to be your date at the funeral.. your family will be happy too that you have moved on so quickly.... Sorry for the harshness, but I think if my wife was killed/mutilated by a train, I might be a little depressed about her death.

Looking at it from a police POV it would be an alarm to me as a cop to say- they guy's wife is dead and he's asking someone else out, before the funeral. Wow! I wonder where he was when his wife "fell" in front of that train? We had better investigate this as a possible homocide.

Aside from all that, I would say you have some serious issues to deal with, esp. if you feel so little about your wife's death as to start dating within the first year

You're absolutely wasting a golden opportunity to have this highlighted in People Magazine. I can see it now: "Triumph over Tears". A Widower who finds new hope in the midst of grieving for a nonexistent wife killed by an nonexistent train. And the totally hawt chick police officer who came on the scene.. i am even more confused now, yesterday you had one day to live ! Earlier you said your wife had been missing for 9 days and now you tell us she jumped under a train yesterday, i am very, very confused. But any ways in regards to your question i would say wait awhile at least till the insurance money comes through for your wife and then take the police lady away somewhere nice for the weekend xxx

If this were true I doubt that you would be on here asking such a question nor would you be thinking about the next woman before your wife was buried. Not unless you are one cold hearted dude or one that was faithful to her when she was alive. If you are being truthful...I think that woman with the most beautiful eyes...would see you as a cold hearted man and run. Sure she committed suicide or did you push her? Second thought, maybe she did after being married to you.

You are either a liar, and should be brutally tortured for lying about such a horrible event, and are the sickest, most f**ed up bastard I have ever met. First of all, you should be knocked out for getting married to someone you dont love enough to mourn her death. Second, you should have your eyes gauged out for even thinking about another woman while you are married, ESPECAILLY right after she commits suicide. And third, your head should be decapitated for being such an aarogant creep. Every word that has just come out of your mouth makes me want to vomit, and the thought of you makes me sick. ...i am sure this lady cop is great with the handcuffs and all, but you are in moarning and shouldn't be thinking about other women, doesnt mean your not going to, you just shouldnt be is all i am saying....

I don't know about everyone else but I don't believe this story.
I am sorry if it is true, but if your wife only just committed suicide why are you asking stupid questions on here?

If your wife was real you obviously don't care about her.

I think you wrote this for a sick kick.

Have some respect, what about the people on here who genuinely have lost someone through suicide? They don't need people making things up about such a serious issue.

While I understand that you're infatuated with this woman do you really want to start something with someone so soon after the death of your wife?

If you just need to have sex then tell the cop straight up maybe she will throw you some sympathy sex.

Personally I think your story is horse hockey but hey if you like creating scenarios that's fine.
