Ok, so I have a crush on my male friend. And we've been friends for about a year now. And at first i could never see myself likeing him like this. But after we started hanging out more, it became apparent that i had feelings for him. Then about 2 months ago we started casually dating, and also went to a dance together. But about a month ago he told a mutual friend that he doesnt like me anymore. I tried to be "just friends" bcause i wanted to keep our friendship. But its too hard! And i think he knows that i still like him, and we still hang out a lot. What should i do? And prom is coming up soon and i really want to go with him, but i dont want him to freak out, and i could say "it could just be as friends, nothing more" - even though i would want something more. What should i do? Or how do i ask him/hint at him to ask me to prom? Help Me!

Yesterday, I found 2 greeting cards in my inbox from dad through usagreetings.com. The first (most recent) card was of an obvious romantic nature ( kisses, lips etc) and it was signed with my dad's name. It mentioned time spent in venice and my dad went to italy in june last year. The second card was a loving good luck wish to me from him and my mom. So I replied to the first greeting with a "what the hell?'' and got another 'thank you'card sent from my dad apparently to the sender of the first card i got. It was as if my dad recieved the first card as well and is letting the sender know that they sent it to the wrong person.

Do you think usagreetings accidently sent someone else's greeting to me and my dad when he was sending the good luck card to me?This is his explaination of what happened.

I am very close to my dad and up till now he was a role model of what an ideal husband and father should be. And now my foundations are shaken and my world is falling apart

my lawyer showed me evidence that my ex transfered $436k cash out of U.S before and between i divorced him 2 years ago. the evidence is provided by my ex's current wife who was his girlfriend then and helped him to laundied money into her Canadian account. she is divorcing him now after married 15 months, the wife kept more than $125k out of the money he send to her, now, they are fighting for it.
The deal for me is: i have to help the wife get what she wants(keep $125k) then she will let me use the evidence to reopen my divorce (she hired the same divorce lawyer).the wife is not a decent person for my opinion,she involved this man with all the calculatings,she treated my daughter badly, even send letters to her elementry school to bad mouth her. so helping her is really against my heart, but it is the only way to get evidence for my case, and i want justice for me and my daughter, it feels like make deal with evil, what should i do?

so my mom works at the college and she does these gallery opening montly for new exbits and she can't be there the whole time for this one so volunteered me to do it and i don't want to but i want to help her out. so my friend was going to go but decided she had would rather go bowling and my other friend won't go. do i have a right to be mad. cause she told me she would go and now i have to stand there by myself w/ a bunch of college kids and i'm in 9th grade.

One of my friends is in an abusive relationship, Her and her bf have been together on and off for about a year and a half now. Well like every other day she comes in the classroom bawling her eyes out and when i aske her she says its b/c her bf hit her, well this has been going on 4 about a month or 2 now well on Valentines Day he bought her a BIG and BEAUTIFUL teddy bear and she was SO happy but by the time it was time 4 lunch they were fussing again and he threw her bear in the GARBAGE!!! ( of course he eventually go it out, BUT STILL!!) so shes bawling AGAIN!!! well YESTERDAY she came into the classroom and she is HISTERICAL!! she has bruises all OVER HER!!! i am REALLY worried about her. Every day she says they are over FOR GOOD!! but it never really happens they break up but in to days they are back together. I know she really luvs him but it seems like me and my friends just can't get through to her. What should I do?

Okay,I'm 21 years old.My sister's 30 & my brother's 28.Over the past 10 years my parents have been dealing with every thing you can think of with my brother & sister because they act irresponsibly.My brother's been in prison for about 2 years now.He's set to get out in a year,so my mom's worrying about trying to help him.She's been worrying really bad about my sister because of how she lives & treats her 3 kids.Yesterday my sister tried to overdose on pills & she's now been committed to a mental hospital by a physician.My sister's 3 children (ages 7,3, & 2 months) were just left at the house by themselves through this whole ordeal.A sheriff took my sister to the mental hospital which is about 2 hours away & just neglected to find anywhere for my nieces & nephew to go.Anyway,my mom has 2 of the children for an unknown amount of time.She seems really stressed,like she's about to have a breakdown.I work over 45 hours a week so I can't keep the kids all the time.How else could I help her?

don't know how to approach this problem of mine. I've been with my girlfriend for about 8 1/2 months, and I still can't seem to relax around her. It is very strange. Most of the time, I don't know how to make conversation with her (I am like this with almost everyone except for my family, by the way). I feel socially inept and insecure. I have basically no friends and I'm very introveted, so I don't have much of a life outside of my full time job and college courses. The thing about my gf is that a couple of weeks ago she said she loved me, and I could tell she meant it. She has a four year old daughter. I notice that my gf is more introverted and laughs less around me than others (although we do laugh at times). I just want her to be happy. I do treat her like a queen. I take her places, do things with her and her daughter, and we don't fight. ADVICE? How can I break out of my shell?
