I totally understand the closeness to a parent, and I understand looking up to him as a good father and a model husband. I can't say that the greeting card was a mistake of the Internet card company, more likely not. I would ask him about it, and deal with it from there. What ever the situation is, it is between your father and your mother. But as a father, he has done according to you a model job.

Sweetness, DON'T read into this. Let it go. It may very well have been a mistake, and it's not worth upsetting yourself or dad with. Besides, are you sure it came from your dad's email address? Could someone else have used his account or had access? Always, always give the benefit of the doubt. For now, let it go and keep your relationship the way it should be.

That's quite a mess up on usagreeting's part. I think you should have a serious discussion with him. Face to face it's easier to tell a lie from truth. Ask the right questions. Pretend you already know. That always helps.
Email usagreetings & ask them how often something is accidentally sent out to the wrong address.

Honestly, it sounds suspicious. Given that the 1st card had details specific to your dad (Venice and his name), I find a computer error unlikely.
But you could check usagreetings, see if maybe they can shed some light on the subject.

it was a mistake and leave it at that
your father is your role model
he should always be and what he does in his spare time should not matter.
Don't look into this any more just don't worry about it.
If it were me i would tell my mom to give her a heads up and forget about it, if you worry about it, it will always bother you,but no matter what, you will love your dad. And if you are close now don't throw that away

I think this was your dad's error. And I don't think it was an error. I don't think it was concious, mind you... but only an idjit would confuse his daughter's email with his GF's.
Your dad has a mistress.
That really happens. Wait until you are his age before you pass judgement. Lets hope he was safe, and had fun. He still loves your mom-- it's just a side thing.

Well, it sounds like its no coincidence, but then again, maybe that card was for your mother. It doesn't have to be a mistress that your dad would send romantic stuff to. You really shouldn't be asking us, you should go directly to him and talk to him face to face.

I think you're making too much out of nothing. Are you typically a drama queen, or are you looking for something to get upset over?

That's a pretty big coincidence with the Venice thing...I think he might be lying.
