make sure he's dead to me, becuz he's clearly someone im gonna care for forever, and unless i find an outlet, the dumbest thing for me to do, is to befriend him, as i watch him hook up with other girls, and care for me when he's in "THAT MOOD" being ready when he's not. SO many mixed signals. He may not be ready for another girlfriend, but i am not ready to wait on a man that honestly has no intention on being with me anytime soon.

Can you really be friends in there and out here?

Since you two just broke up and he wants to be friends with benfits. I say run run run away... He's only looking to use you.

However, if you're friends with a person for sometime and want to have a friendship in there and out here. If you two can set the rules. Sure, why not.

I had a female friend like that. We did it at lest once a week. We were best friends all of our lives, but didn't want anything more then friendship

She's off with another guy and I have no hard feelings and we still talk everyday. We never had love feelings, towards each other, just bed buddies I guess.

In this situation I'd say no ... you used to date and now he just wants to use you.

Now then A FWB can be a nice thing if you are both too busy for a real relationship or for whatever reason you don't want one.. The rules need to be set at the start. No mentioning the L word except in terms like "I love it when you do that" Either side can end it without hard feeling ect ect

No, I don't think it's a good idea. Being friends with benefits is only a good idea when you don't feel anything for the person, and you know that you're the type of person who won't start feeling anything once you have sex with them. Otherwise, it's too easy to get hurt.

Not a good idea. You have feelings for this guy and sexual relations with him will complicate things big time.

Be friendly, but forget about the benefits. Have some self respect.

Friends w/ benefits is great if both parties have no feelings for the other. So, in your case, DON'T do it. It won't work out in the end.

If it's not a real relationship I'll live it. It's not worth it, because that means the other person can date another, and I am totally not into that!

don't do it if you are expecting more and cannot handle the idea that you might not get more (or probably won't)
friends with bennies are great if both parties are on the same page and are clear on what they want...it works best if neither of you want more...
