I'll try not to be too hard on my mother-law but I want everyone to have all the info possible. I love her & my wife. My mother-in law 62, has depression; Doc says has the emotional maturity of a 20 old(I think he was kind).angry, negative and very difficult. Huge packrat (4 bedroom house full of junk; when visiting we stay in hotel ,no room) she is unaware the harm she is causes to people around her (or doesn't care) can't seem to get anything done, collects medical disability; Seems OK to me. Some say she just lazy and stubborn like her father & since she was a young adult she "didn't want to do the right thing" She can act OK around people if she has too. We have been down the road w/ doctors,Meds for her (again sorry if this sounds harsh). I have been dealing w/ similar problems w/ wife ie.difficult, lying,(lack of trust) My wife and I have been to.counceling(for us).. Nothing is working. Can people just be that way? Will my wife turn into her? Do I need to go in another direction?

i am 24 and i have gone out with several girls to date... but i have a problem. you see, none of those relationships ended on a good note. the girls like me well enough, but i have this attitude problem that just makes me the most obnoxious man at times. i get irritated by simple things the girls do and i become mean to them, ignore them, become rude for very silly reasons. i become an *** and ignore the chick on the street even. i dont think the problem is with the girls. it must be me and i need some urgent assistance here guys coz i want to marry this girl and i'm afraid i'm gonna do the same crap to her too. i really love this one. what can i do to make my character stay the same. why do i have to vacillate between being an extremely fun charmer to being a ******* arsehole?

I'm seeing a guy (long-distant) we're not officially in a relationship cuz of the distance i.e. we haven't discussed monogamy. He told me he's slept with a woman, not once, but twice. He said he's done this cuz he thinks cuz of my 'high sex drive' that I'm sleeping around also. What's so funny bout the whole thing is that he wants a relationship. Is he trying to make me think about this other girl sleeping with him, so I am more inclined to secure a relationship with him?! I told him last night, that if she wants to f**k him again, then she's gonna have to ask me for permission, he said "I will do that and asked since when did you become boss?!". Is he taking this seriously? what do you think I should do? I don't want to end it with him.

She works nearby my home and get off everynite at 9:00, she stops by home, takes dinner with me and mom, sometimes stay over, sometimes goes back home. I called mom this morning, told her I was going to stay at my fiancee's tonight and because she cooked a delicious soup yesterday, I was going to bring some to my fiancee tonight. My mom thinks my fiancee is taking advantage of us someone by requesting me bring her some food over. My mom says, "Does not she have enough money to buy her some"?, I mean, my mom she looked at it that way, but I do not think my fiancee is trying to take advantage of my by doing that. She just likes the way my mom cooks and prefers to have some delicious soup before getting some crappy one at the store. It is not about taking economically advantage of me. What do you think?

Wife doesn't desire sex as much as me. She says she loves me, but doesn't need the physical contact. We asked her doctor and her doctor said this happens in alot of women and that it is normal. We tried talking, scheduling sex, and it doesn't seem to work. She says she understands our situation, but I don't think she does. I am tired of being sexually frustrated all the time. I tried telling her outright my situation, but it doesn't help. She gets mad. We tried date nights, candlelit dinners, parking, and other things. Any other suggestions?

OK, we have been working on our house now for over a year. We originally had hired some help, that fell thru along with a chunk of change. So we've had to do a bunch of this work ourselves. We took a break over the holidays, and hubby is having a hard time getting back into it. (I'm tired of it too, but we are soooo close to being finished, and I only know how to do some things w/tools, he knows practically all of it). I don't want to nag, so I try really hard not to, but about once a week, I'll say, "Hey, why don't you work on the house." Also, I've been VERY attentive to his manly needs lately, so please don't tell me to butter him up that way, it's apparently got nothing to do with anything. We have no heat, this is our second winter without heat (and he's a licensed HVAC guy)....NO EXCUSE for that one. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can motivate him, or do I just have to keep waiting patiently? I really don't want to have to nag, I'm not his mom....

Okay, Im 16 and my boyfriend is 19. We have been going out for 2 years and like 4 or 5 months. I love him very much and i know he loves me. We never fight and everybody thinks we are like the perfect couple. But everybody seems to think that we are having sex because we have been together so long and plan on gettin married in a few years. Why do people think that? Should we be having sex? He hasnt ever ask me because hes made the decision befor and really regrets it and he said he wouldnt regret us but he dont want to take any changes of me regreting it.

When making decisions, should you listen to other's input or go by your gut feel. I have been confused about major life issues and don't know who to listen to.

My child lives with my ex in another state. He is moving due to job reasons. My ex, mother-in-law and daughter want me to move back in the house until my daughter finishes 10th grade.

My parents are saying to take a stand that he must file legal papers or I am not coming to get the child. They do not want to see me hurt again by my ex and his family.

My ex, daughter and mother-in-law think positive and want to see the family together. My parents do not want to see me with my ex again and instead want me to fight things out or ask my ex to live up to his legal responsibilities.

I can not think with a mind of my own and get confused.

There are at times a few cute guys that catch my interest, but I no longer get "butterflies." I miss that.
I don't feel nervous around guys I like in the way that I used to. I know love isn't built on this sentiment, but it would be nice to have at least SOME infatuation in the beginning.
I guess I'm not so shy anymore and that's part of it, yet I don't feel anything for anyone; no passion, nothing. I feel empty.
With Valentine's around the corner, I just feel like there's something wrong. I see the couples walking around campus all the time holding hands...I guess it just makes me sad. Is there something wrong? Is there anything I can do to fix this?
