For me, I had to get off the Depo Provera birth control shot because it was decreasing my sex drive, but I didn't know that's what it was. Also, some birth control pills decrease the sex drive. After, you've checked this out and if this and no other medication is decreasing it, then I would suggest making sure you are doing everything to make her feel happy and secure and loved. For example, do you help with housework or kids? Do you see something you could do to make her life easier and then do it? It's hard to make love to a selfish person who only thinks of themself and then takes and takes from you. Romance starts with these simple, easy things for a woman's mind to go, "OK, did he just do the dishes? Did he just take the trash out and put his own dirty clothes in the washer?" Women start with this type of thing and it really matters to us. I know it sounds stupid, but it's true! Ok, if you do all this, do you call her just to see how her day is and talk nice to her and tell her you love her and can't wait to see her that evening? That really works for me, to know he's thinking of me. Ok, now if you do all this, and it's still not more often (you said once a week, which is pretty good for a married couple, you didn't mention if you had kids) then try something different that you normally wouldn't do or try something exciting like a "movie" or some wine. A weekend away with no responsibilities would be nice. How about trying toys to spice it up? I know this may not be something she's not used to (or maybe so, I don't know) or whatever, but it really spices it up and makes it so interesting to try different things and methods and ....There's just some things out there that I didn't even know existed!!!!! ha, After 15 yrs. of marriage and the kids are finally able to be on their own a little, we are discovering each other and new things!! Especially after I got off the body and mind numbing birth control. Of course now, we don't have any birth control, except condoms, but a lot of times there's no worry about that if you know what I mean? We're pleased in different ways and different areas.......

If you start outside the bedroom with a little romance
example if you have children bathe and get them to bed for her
or do the dishes as you send her to take a bubble bath
Talk Talk Talk . hold her hand while you are watching a movie Do you remember petting sometimes it doesn't lead to penatration but it does feel really good Beleive me for most women sex doesn't start in the bedroom it starts in the brain and with a man who wants her enough to work for it
My husband has a warm bubble baths and set the bathroom with candles and has a chilled glass of wine waiting for me when I come home from work he makes dinner and walks the dogs then we talk about our day. I am always ready for him

its all in presentation, taking over some of her responsibilities, surprising her, candlelight, toys. Women like the 4play thing, but I'm speaking of compliments, little things throughout the day, text messages, extra I love you's sometimes. Compromise, talk to her, see if you can tell her you need it one time, she likes it one time a week, so add them together, maybe you could get 2x a week. communication is key. buy her some lingerie, something to make her feel sexy.

Yes there is. Men take Viagra, Cialas or other stimulants...there is something for women to take to increase theirs. Check with your family OB/GYN, they will know what it is.
