Okay, Im 16 and my boyfriend is 19. We have been going out for 2 years and like 4 or 5 months. I love him very much and i know he loves me. We never fight and everybody thinks we are like the perfect couple. But everybody seems to think that we are having sex because we have been together so long and plan on gettin married in a few years. Why do people think that? Should we be having sex? He hasnt ever ask me because hes made the decision befor and really regrets it and he said he wouldnt regret us but he dont want to take any changes of me regreting it.

No, the two of you should decide when the time is right. I think your boyfriend is acting very maturely in that he doesn't want to put you in a situation that either one of you could regret. Good for you both! You should both be proud of yourselves for being so careful with such a big decision!

It's statics most people have sex early on in a relationship. I think that it's great that you have waited and that he supports that decision. No you should not be having sex. I think that the decisions you have made with this are very sound mature decisions and I think that you need to stand by your choices. The only reason people think you are is because of the statics now.

i dated my ex-husband for a year before i had sex. i was 21 when it happend. some people think that a woman and a man being together is just a sex thing but they are wrong, so forget abou what people think, adn if you do it be careful, but wait a little bit more before you do it.

Stay the course and I promise you won't regret it. What goes on between you and your BF is your business. Wait to give the one gift you can only give once to your HUSBAND and not to just anyone.

no, you do not have to have sex. dont worry about what other think. sex is best left for marriage anyway because it can cause a lot and i mean a lot of jealousy problems because of previous partners and such.

No you shouldn't, not at least until you're ready. Besides, you're still a minor and he could be in big trouble if he does.
