My wife of 11 years had an affair that lasted 2 mths. I caught her on Christman day. She was very sorry and I have tried to forgive her but I have trouble with trusting her now. We went to marriage counseling and it helped some. She is not close to me any more. I am kind and trying hard to make this work. She spends alot of time outside of the home and does not work. I pay all the bills and do all the chores including raising our 7 year old son. I love her but we just can't communicate. I want her to be more a part of this family. I feel that she is taking advantage of me and I can' t live this way much longer. I love her and I think she still loves me. What do I do?

i really like this guy. we meet up whenever we are out in town on the same nite. we have kissed.

after we have met up i dont hear from him for a while and he ignores my texts-why???

i then move on and forget him and he comes back texting like normal!!

I've been dating this guy exclusively for a little over a month. We are both in out late twenties. He is wonderful to me. Sweet, kind, warm ect.... I enjoy the time we spend together. One of the problems is that I have had a series of bad relationships where trust and infedelity have played a major role in its downfall. My man admits he has dated LOTS of women but says all of that went out the window when he met me. I don't want to doubt his sincerity but I can't seem to totally believe him. His ex keeps calling, other women he's dated calling, and he tells them he has a GF now but STILL it doesn't seem to put my mind at ease . My second issue is that he is really overprotective of me. I have guyfriends who I hang out with. I have no problem having us all hang out together but he seems to get upset when it's just me and my friends. Is this trust issues on his side? We have talked about these issues into the ground. How can we make this work? THX

My situation is one that's very frustrating and odd. I am a divorced 53 year old male...I have a girlfriend that is newly divorced as well. My problem is that she is living in the house in which her husband is paying for...Her X-husband is still in contact with her as the court decided to have him pay the house payment...C/C and other bills..anyhow I live in an apt and wish to be with her more but her husband wont let go and keep crying to her on the phone. In the Divorce decree he said if anyone moves in he will no longer pay her bills...We both carry large debt from our previous marriages but I am willing to go the extra effort to work on the debts and so is she..although she is currently un-employed. She is upset her X has this control over her and doesn't know what to do. She feels stuck and it is causing stress in our relationship to the point that she has put off seeing me on a regular basis because of being upset with the situation and feels it is not fair to me..I love her.HELP

Well I had a friend with benefits but not anymore because my close friend ratted out on me to him.

She's both my friend and his friend(she's engaged but has sexual encounters with him and has feelings for him).

Well my former friend with Benefits told me not to tell her, I didn't know what he was talking about so I told her anyway because I was concerned about something.

I confided in her a year ago about what happened to me two summers ago(Oh it was pretty bad!) So now I'm ticked off at her and my friend with benefits won't screw me just because I told her.

You see this guy is only out there for sex so I was just using him for pleasure the same way he was using me.

So how do I gain back his trust?

To me, I think most people were "sold" that you have to be married. I see nothing wrong with being with someone you love, and living with them. Just to say "I do" means nothing. I think most couples that were once very happy end up in divorce just because they said those words, and now feel pressured by society to "put up a front" and show the world they love each other by spending thousands of dollars on weddings, gifts, honeymoons, etc.......... to me it's all a Crock!
I see nothing wrong if people just want to be together without saying "I do" in front of 100 people just to show their love.
Besides.........if the church really cares so much about couples, why do most of them charge you to marry there??

I used to be the most patient man alive. Then, I had two children. Now, my patience is completely gone, GONE! I love my boys dearly, but the two of them have drained my soul of patience and it's starting to effect my marriage. I blow up with just a simple question from my wife. She feels like I'm attacking her. I've just lost the slow, calm, detailed side of myself to this short fused and angry man inside of me. I exercise regularly, I eat healthy foods, I rarely drink alcohol, dont do drugs. I've seen a therapyst before and he handed me a worksheet, like I was in grade school - not for me. What do I do now? How can I get my patience back? Anyone have any suggestions?

I am the fitting room attendant for a large mass merchandiser. Last night I had a situation in which a couple came to our fitting rooms with 3 girls ages 9, 6 and 20 months. The girls were all trying on swimsuits. It was the father who went into one of our large family fitting rooms with the girls while the mother stayed out and waited, telling me that they were "daddy's girls." I am wondering what others think of this situation. I think it should have been the mother who went in with the girls not their dad, considering the ages of two of the girls.

recently i asked this woman i met if she wanted to get together this weekend. Prior to me asking her out we talk when i saw her at my job (i work at a gym) We flirted some, but i saw our interactions as being mostly platonic.
As soon as i asked her out her tone changed altogether. She is really treating this like a date and i just wanted to hang out really.

I was with my ex bf for 3 years,i loved him very much,we where planing our lives together..but 2 1/2 years ago he died!
I didn't have any friends except his friends,and i was left alone with only one friend that i had which i've known for more than 8 years!
After his death i didn't even want to live and breath..and even now that i have feelings for my friend (that i've know 8 yrs ),i feel that i am betraying his love!
The thing is that this friend of mine,has never admmited that he likes me,even though he shows it,and sometimes he says some things and i act like i don't hear...i know i am being childish but i am so hurt...that i don't think that i can take more pain!Unfortunatly he was the only one in my life and now i am really in love with him,and i even realized that he was a person in my life that i love with all my soul!

A family members ex-girlfriend shows up after nine months and a couple of days with a baby she claims is his. She doesn't even tell him herself, she sends her sister to show him the baby and deliver the news. He doesn't believe the baby is his, so before he tells his 7 year old daughter, she has a sister, he spends three months seeing the baby, etc. Now after 4 months the Ex says, the baby is not his. Which to be honest I don't think any of us really thought she was in the first place. Although I am a Christian and do believe in forgiveness, I personally want to BEAT HER DOWN(I am only human). The thing that really pisses me off are the fact that she approached him, he had no clue she was even pregnant. She had three months before he told his daughter about the baby, and she didn't tell him then. Now he has to tell his 7 year old daughter who is in love with her "baby sister" that the baby is not his. So what would you do?

my girl asked about trying to get custody of her little half sister yesterday... i'm the bf she lives with if you read her question. anyways, i'm all for it, i mean i've never raised a kid before but i'm sure we can do better than taylor's mother can. she loves that girl with all of her heart. and she's sooooo good with children. every kid she's came across has fallen in love with her. she use to work at an elementary school when she was 15... volunteer work and she still has little pictures all the kids drew her saying they love her and whatnot.

anyways, i'm afraid that if she goes through with this that i might not be a good "dad" or whatever figure for taylor. i know tasha can handle it and i just want to be supportive. she's going to be a magnificant mother someday and a role model to everyone. she's my hero, my world.

am i stressing about my role in this or what?
