My bf and I have known each other since we were 10 yrs old on and off but we never tried dating. In Sep. 2006 we started dating and now we are saying the 3 words to each other the only things is that he has a lot of girls that are friends and he does things that I consider flirting. When confronted he assures me that I am the only one and that we have known each other for to long for him to cheat on me. Should I believe him and wat should I do about his lil friends that believe enjoy flirting back?

Everythings getting to me at the moment my friends wont stop bitching at each other and i end up having to sort it out, im arguing with my mum and because of all this my work is slacking and going down hill despite all of it i can cope i jsut need a way to pick me up really!

Lately, he's been hard to get intouch with because he says he hanging with the guys. I have no problem with this, it's only when he does it and not tell me. Like, he'll be gone all day and not call until the next night. Then when I get upset it's all my fault, because I'm driving him crazy with arguing and crying. Most times I get mad and appologize later like it's my fault, but mainly to avoid the break-up. Just this morning, we got into one of those arguements he was gone all night, and ignoring my calls again. I really needed to get in contact with him, because my work uniform was at his place. Called all night finally, this morning he calls an hour before I have to get to work and acts as if nothing is wrong, I blow up. He threatened to break-up with me if I didn't stop getting on his case and crying, I didn't because this is the hundredth time that we've gone through this. Then he tells me he wants out of the relationship. I leave and cry, I'm not sure if this is the end, do you?

I’m just curious about something. Does it matter when dating someone, their education level? If they’re smart? Their living situation? What kind of car they drive? If they have a career of a job? What are their short term goals? What are their long term goals? These things have always been important to me. Now, I’m being told that I’m too picky. And that this arrogant, when I’ve always thought it was having standards with who I date.
I offer these things so, I’ve always wanted someone I felt was on my level. Any opinions on this.
Is it wrong to look down on people when they don’t seem to measure up without giving them a chance.

I have been with my boy friend for 4 years. THis weekend he is supposed to go ring shopping. Now he has decided that he cant b/c he wants to go to Gasparilla (like mardi gras, but in tampa). THis was the only weekend he had to get a ring, b/c he was going to propose on our anniversary (2 weeks from now). Was this an honest oversight, or should I be concerned he values getting drunk and looking at other girls boobs more than marrying me?

ok i had a fight with my husband about going to nyc see previous question..because he didnt want to mind our 2 kids for 4 nights..he refused and we had a huge fight..he went to work i told him not to come home and he said im going to take all our money and good luck getting any out of me in court so i went onto our account online and transfered our/his money into my own account..but now i feel guilty should i put it back? but i know if i dont let him in the house when he gets home from work he wont give me any money and i have to kids to care for? surely this power struggle shouldnt be how a marriage is supposed to be like? no nastiness comments please this is my life

my best friend (mark) is good friends with all these people in a band. one of those people in the band are named John. Mark called me with John on the other line. We talked for a while, and Mark showed John my myspace. Apparently, he thinks I am "insanely hot" and was talking to Mark about how bad he wants to "bone me." I was joking around on the phone and told John I'd give him a lapdance if he gave me and some friends a ride to the movies. So i probably led him on or something. Because I don't do things like that. Mark is having a party on Saturday and the whole band is going to be there. I'm afraid this guy John is going to try something on me and I'm not sure how to handle this. I've heard some bad things about John also, that he's an alcoholic and has a bad home-life. I know the typical answer is to "not go" to the party but I'm going to eventually meet this guy John somewhere because he's friends with a lot of people I know. After 1 1/2 years together, my ex broke up with me because of "incompatibility." We stayed friends & still hung out. Sometime later, his friend calls me to check up on me. We would talk almost everyday like most friends do. Eventually, we started hanging out and became FWB. My ex asked me was anything going on b/w me and his friend, & I told him yes. I understand him being upset, but I was with his friend because there was a mutual attraction b/w us, and we were both single, not because he was my ex's friend. My ex said he probably got what he deserved because he cheated on me. He said what I did was wrong & I should've thought about his feelings, but he should've followed his own advice b4 cheating on me, & I was faithful to him. A few days ago he comes to my job to buy gas. If he's mad at me, why come 2 my job knowing that I'm there? I think it was an excuse 2 c me. I want 2 call and check on him, but a friend said not to. I feel since I was single, I did nothing wrong. Any advice?
