went out with this girl i like last week and she said she likes me 2 but the whole night she never really spoke to me much just to her friend but then she started talking a lot when we were walking home together just me and her and her mum drove past and she turned down getting a lift home and walked home with me instead this tells me she wanted to spend more time with me but im getting mixed signals what do u think is going on in her head do u think she really does want me or not? btw she isnt very shy either (just before people say this is the reason for it) and also i had never met her friend before this night

Maybe she is just unsure or it was strange with her friend there. She was probably more use to her friend than you so naturally talked to her a little more. She obviously wanted to spend more time with you by turning down the ride. Ask her for a second date without the friend so its more one on one and try and see how she acts. Flirt with her gently and see how she responds, and in what ways she flirts back. Do not like grab her face and make out with her, but lightly touch her hand, things like that. You should be able to pick up on her signals with it just you too

Hello, ask her pointblank what the situation is; instead of assuming anything. This way you guys will both be on the same page, and you can work towards a dating relationship or if that's not the case you both can move on with your lives.

If you ask me I think she likes you but she may be a bit shy in showing it. Sometimes people who are not shy at all become shy when they are around the person they like (romantically). (this applies to some women )

Just as you seem to be confused and anxious over her responses, remember that she is confused and anxious over her feelings. Opening yourself up in a relationship can seem counter to our societal built reflexes for many if not most. She probably likes you it was probably just because her friend was there so she was talking to her and hanging out with her. Also she is probably trying to play hard to get. Call her up and see if she wants to go on another date with you, just you and her. Take out to eat, some place at least kinda nice, and if you have the money take her to a movie after-wards.
