i really like this 29 year old guy but hes playing games with me. i thought guys of this age wouldnt be into game playing???
could he just be scared of commitment??

DETAILS OF THE GAME:
this guy texts me loads to meet up....then ignores my messages once we have met up.............i then dont bother contacting him anymore................then, after abit he starts texting me again like normal????

This fella sounds like he has other girls on the go................ probably can't keep up with all that texting!!!
He also sounds like he likes the thrill of the chase and when you make it obvious that your into him (and theres nothing wrong with that, unless, like him you like 'the thrill of the chase) then theres no thrill as there is no 'chase' which is maybe why he backs off for a while (that and because of the other girls he has on the go), thus, when you stop texting him he the whole 'thrill of the chase' thing starts up again as you appear to not be so keen on him.
Unfortunately it is a mind game, and at 29 you would have expected him to have grown out of it, however, alot of blokes dont reach maturity until after they have gone through their midlife crisis!!!!!
Have some backbone, remember that you are FAR better then him and can get any lucky fella that you want and its HIS lose NOT yours - delete his number and DONT answer his calls or respond to his texts, if you see him around just be polite but don't stop and chat - hello, goodbye is already too much!!!!!
Now...............go and kick that BOY to the kerb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let him get his thrills of some other gullible fool!!!!!!

I think that you probably like him more than he likes you. Thats okay as in all relationships one person will feel stronger than the other but you have to call it quits when it starts to make you unhappy.
Next time he doesn't bother texting you, just ignore him when he starts up again, then after a couple of days reply to the text saying you've been busy, he'll see then that you aren't just waiting around for him the whole time. Give yourself some time to see what you want, and don't let him have his cake and eat it.

You have to remember a person can only do to you what you allow them to do. And most guys like to play games because they have nothing else better to do with their time and 29 is a little too old for game playing even though there's a lot older ones that play those same silly games. I would say he just hasn't matured yet and doesn't know what he wants.

yes but at that age he shouldn't be scared. Some men just like the run around. if it is games he wants to play at that age find someone else.

I think he is probably scared of your immaturity. How old are you?
don't think he's playing games at all and YOU are too young to be thinking about commitment... enjoy your life... maybe he doesn't like you other than as a friend/acquaintance.

if he feel like that, its not a serious relationship, he could be skipping soon to another as he is only seeking fun ; he has no sense of commitment yet; show him that you are not a toy!
