I understand it is "bad form" to ask for any kind of present - but i have all i need for the house so 20 toasters really wont help. I want to put someting so people dont feel obliged to give anything - but to give them a point in the right direction if they chose to do so.

ok, me and my ex-boyfriend were very happy with each other. but everyone always told me not to go out with him cuz he was not the kind of guy that a girl like me should date. (talking about he was too bad of a guy for me) he is two years older than me and he is still in school and everything. i love him very very much! my parents wont allow me to go out with him though because just like everyone else, they think that he is not the kind of guy that i need to be dating. what should i do? should i go out with him without my parents permission or should i just look for someone else that they will like? please help me.

i split with my ex fiance of 6 years 10 months ago, for various reasons. we had our own place together.

A new guy has kind of been chasing me for a while. i met him thro my ex.

we have only kissed.

he knew my ex and about my relationship.They used to work together. this guy is not friends with my ex and my ex has moved away.

i didnt end my relationship for this guy and i didnt cheat on my ex with this guy.

would this new guy be weary of asking me cause of my past relationship???

how do I tell my boyfriend thai I do want to and will marry him but not yet and I dont know when-w/o hurting his feelings? I know this questions is very vague but basically, the friends which I had in the past were not my real friends at all. They said many rude things to me to my face and behind my back, they did not respect me or my family and they were not there for me when I needed them. I have a few friends whom I can trust. How can you know for sure if someone is a good friend or not? Those girls I thought were my real friends, then 5 years later I learned otherwise.

We mutually agreed to part and stay friends eventually because he didn't want me out of his life and I didn't want him out of mine. So after being apart for 6 months now...he started to contact me and we started to do things together now and then. Like watching a movie having coffee...but never talking about what's happened between us. Last night we did just that watched a movie went for coffee and then he asked me if we could be friends with benifits...at first I disagreed, but since we are both single and well I wanted to and we are comfortable together and there is still something there...I figured why not...I told him we'll take this one day at a time and see what happens...is that wrong that we have some kind of open relationship? That would mean that there is no real commitment involved but eventually could be unless I or he changes his mind. I still love him and I think he loves me, but he's afraid of the commitment think...I am confused and I don't know what to do with this.

One week my male friend he calls but lately we have been having little arguments because he hasn't had any time for me. So I guess it was someone else he was seeing when I went through his phone there was this girl he talks to.
