Pressuring a guy for marriage is as romantic as a boy pressuring a virgin for sex.
How old are you? Are you in school? YOu live together? Have jobs? You didn't give us much to go on. All I can tell you from what you said is you either need to hang in there if you think you'll get a commitment AND you believe you love him. Or bail out if you don't think he will and you believe the commitment is more important than being with him when you can.

Hmm yea if everything is going good than you would think a commitment would have come along by now. Most people don’t want to rattle a guy in case he should decide you are wanting too much from him. But my philosophy was to be with a guy for two years and if no commitment then move on so you don’t end up becoming his mother. He may have gotten in a comfort zone with you so let him know how you feel. If he doesn’t see the problem give him a deadline, like 4 years, and then you are moving on.

after that long, there should be some type of commitment or else he is just using you. Talk to him to see what plans he has for the future and if the answers are that he has none dump him and find someone who Will make that commitment.

Maybe he is scared of commitment or thinks that you don't want one..... You need to talk to him about it. Just ask him what he sees for your future....does he see ya'll together.....etc.
If you don't ask, you won't know. And you need to find out so that you won't waste anymore time with him if he is not serious.

He hasn't proposed you yet? Then he's just using you. He doesn't love you if he can't simply move to the next level.
