If you and your wife are close and don't have a problem talking with one another, then I would suggest you make it very clear to her that you love her and reassure her that you are totally happy with her, her body etc. but you were thinking of trying some new things in the bed room. Maybe you could ask her how she feels about watching some xxx rated movie together? Then maybe without you having to say any thing to her at all she'll pick up some idea's.If not then you could point out some thing that you think you would like to try. Remember to make sure to give her lots of attention and reassurance and let her know you only want to add a little spice to your marriage and she is the only one for you. Good luck...

Perhaps a 3-pronged approach would be helpful:
[1] Spend time outside of bed doing two things: [a] just hugging her or holding her hand or rubbing her feet without ANY sexual intention whatsoever. Not all touch should be sexual, especially for women. Maybe say let's try 69-ing for a while or doing it in a chair if you are up for it and see if we like it. Communicate and do things together and don't make every second about sex.

It really depends on how you are in bed. If you happen to be one of these "2 minute men", she probably feels she shouldn't even waste her time any more.
Try more intense fore play. That is the art of making love. Not the intercourse part. Love her body!! Touch her body in all places. Make it as sentual as possible.
Try introduceing toys if you haven't already. Sit down and read books on love making.
It takes time, so make the time. She'll be happy you did.

Take the lead. When you have sex with your wife, make everything about pleasing her every erotic need. She probably wants to be more exciting, but what she has in mind, she is afraid you may not like it. So, this is why you have to put all your insecurities and judgmetal tendencies aside and just have fun with your wife.

the one thing you don't want to do is to start doing some off the wall ceiling fan swinging...LOL you could take small steps. Introducing new positions. Get her to have sex in places other then the bedroom, such as the livingroom or the dinningroom...you could bring in a toy or just some intersting foreplay, like oral sex and role play....
