New years eve 2005/2006. I met a girl and we had a wonderful January together. By the end of the month she dumped me with out so much as a reason.

There were times when "big ben" wouldn't rise to the occaision (I'm man enough to admit that despite being nearly 24), and thats what happened the night she dumped me, that or she mis interpreted a sexual suggestion. I think she used me for sex and that was it. And when I wasn't doing it for her someone else was. She was always on about other guys...

She was 18 and fresh out of High School and a virgin. And I loved her. I still love her very deeply.

And thats what I need help with. How do you possibly begin to get over someone who had that profound an impact on your life!?

Focussing on achieving Black belt helped take my mind off things. But now I'm alone again, watching everyone else have relationships and get married etc...

Am I the definition of pathetic? Why is it so hard to let go?

Last week my car was messing up my transmission is going out on me and I ask my boyfirend to take me to work. He told me yes at first but later on that day he said."He was'nt taking me and that he was planing on getting drunk and going out to the club. So I end up driving my car to work but it was pulling 25 mph on the road. I have to drive at least 20 miles to get to work. I explain to him how I feel and that I felt hurt by him not being there for me when I needed him.He also told me that the reason he did'nt me was because he felt like I was able to make it to work and He was'nt getting out his bed to come and get me. He told me that I need to get over it and that I'm over reacting. But I'm am hurt because he should have been there for me. Now he has broking up with me because he say I should'nt carry on things for along time and that he is not wrong. What should I do. :(

i'm 25 and my bf is in his early 40's. I only broke up with him 4 days back. I was fine for those days and now i feel pain and soar in my heart. i feel like calling him back and to be with him. I called him ealier but he's not answering my calls. The reason we broke up was becoz he has high level of susicions against me and he loves to link me with other men.He abuses me mentally and he treats me like a small Kid. We have been married 19 yrs, and have two teen age sons. Every since our sons came along, her desire for intamacy has dwindled. I have always assumed it would rekindle. Lately she has been real rash with both me and the boys. She has been lying more and more lately to the point of not trusting her. Her drinking has increased and she is burning, and lying about it.She was caught with a 17yr old boy at night on the side of the house and said they were just talking. When friends of the bouys come over she tries to hang with them and is super nice and friendly, to a point one of my sons told her she was being creepy. She is 44 and a pretty long haired brunette. Is this some sort of mid life crisis? If so, how do you deal with it?

Alot of people say that they regret settling down too early and not doing things they wanted to do. Like what? Because im "young" But i know im in love with my boyfriend. we talk about marriage and a life together so much, it makes me feel like a princess. I know anything can happen at any time, but assuming it doesnt-- this could be the real thing. I dont see what I personally would "miss out on" coz im not focused on sleeping around, id ont care how many guys i go out with, hes my best friend as well as my boyfriend-- i can do anything with him, and i couldnt do anything without him. i dont see what i'd be missing out on my settling down with him. I have been getting close to this guy who has had a hard time committing to me, we see each other every day. If i don't go to his house he rings me asking where I am, and I go. Our new activity together is i now go grocery shopping with him once a week. When we first got close i could speak to him about everything and anything.

Now I know i am pushing him away because I am scared he will hurt me. This has resulted in a barrier between us and I hardly speak now. He have idle chit chat but mainly i sit there in scilence watching tv or playing with his dogs.

We have spoken about this sort of and he said he was worried I no longer needed him, i tried to explain that wasn't the problem, but he had to get out of the car and thats where that conversation stopped.

He is hanging in there cause he still wants to see me everyday. But his non commitment is making me non talkative. Any suggestions how I can get passed this? I am scared he is starting to see me as an empty vessel
