Not talking to them ever again would be the least I'd do to somebody!

I would defend my parents. I would not speak to that person. Abuse to anyone is not acceptable and therefore that person deserves none of my respect or my time. If it was a situation that just escalated, such as, there was a lot of arguing and it just got out of hand, I'd let that person know that it's not acceptable in any case to abuse your parents. That way you give them 1 chance, I guess. But, that would be still difficult for me to speak to them.

Let me make it clear. The person will be dead so no question of him talking to me ever again. If he doesn't die I will show him up in front of the whole circle he lives in and leave him lonely in the world. No Job, No Friends, no Love, No Family. Besides, why did you use the word 'abuse'? It's like the parents are young toddlers.

I'd be pretty upset. I'd try to forgive that person, and if they really were truly sorry and wanted to make up the friendship, I would try to. But don't take that kind of behavior any more.
