What is the difference between Loving someone and have a crush on them?

Sometimes I wonder... is it just because of adulthood that we think we are in Love?

How many of you know the difference...

A Girl Just Moved Into My Neightborhood. I Knew From The Moment I Layed Eyes On Her that My Ex-Boyfriend Likes Just Her Type, But I Thought No, And I Just Became Friends With Her, And We Hung Out All Weekend. I Introduced Her To My Girl And My Girl Didnt Like This Other Girl, But I Convinced Her To Give Her A Chance And She Did! Within The Next Couple Of Weeks This New Girl Started Going To School Where My EX Was Going. I Knew From The Start That She was Going To Try And Get With Him, So I Explained That I Was Still In Love With him And I WOuldnt Date Him If I Was Her. Well Me And My EX Had A Talk and we decided we werent gonna "take a break" but we were gonna see other people. i was perfectly ok with him seeing other people and i had seen other people too. within the next week my friend had came over and was like trying to talk to me and she couldnt and i asked her if she was dating him and she said well i really dont know and she jsut starred at me and then she said yes why am i mad?

Last night a friend of mine told me that she heard from one of her friends that my new boyfriend has been showing around my text messages to his friends and saying things about me and making jokes... My friend thinks I should let him go.
But I kept a cool head because the previous night he was stoned and last night he was stoned. So I didn't hold it against him, but I did ask him if he did it, and he said no, that he didn't and why would I ask a question like that. He kept a cool head too and quickly changed the subject.
My friend told me that he's not who I think he is... but when we made love, it wasn't like anything I've ever experienced, it was full of emotion on his part and on mine... I felt it. And he's told me early that he has fallen in love with me... I believe him cause I can feel it. But I think I should let him off the hook! I figured I'd ask him about it to let the thought linger in the back of his mind, just in case he really did do it.

What do you guys think?

I have a 2 yr old and a 7 month old, do you think I would drop off my two children with someone to go out and have sex with someone else? The answer is no, My husband accuses me of cheating on him most of the time. I don't and would never risk my family over another guy. How do I get him off my back? Or this will never stop? Plus if he is so attached to me, when I come up to work to see him he doesn't even want to talk when he is not even busy, he won't look me in the face. Is this because he wants to go good infront of his employees? What do I do?

I left my country to study abroad and during my studies I met this guy and we started dating, I was honest and told him I had a boy friend backhome though not serious.
This guy didn't tell me he had been planning to marry another girl back home, and this I discovered when I got wind of a mail he had sent to this girl. Well I was so inlove and couldn't break up at that stage. We've been going out for eight months now but I realised after questionning him about our relationship, that it will lead to no where since he was still keeping in touch with this girl and did not want to break up with her. I decided to end the relationship because I realised I was going to end up being hurt but he said he didnt want us to stop seeing each other and that he couldn't cope without me. Meantime he is planning to bring this girl over and yet he promised he wouldnt hurt me and that may be this girl won't want to marry him afterwards. What do I do,I still love him and He's the best man I've ever dated.

I am a Chinese young adult living in the U.S. who has preserved the Mandarin language to fluency due to my mother's prodding. I feel like it's a big part of who I am, and it gives me the ability to talk to Chinese on a personal level, as well as expresses my value on this culture that is in my past. I think it's an admirable trait in anyone else who has also taken the initiative to re-learn Chinese as their "mother tongue".

My boyfriend is also Chinese, but is very very Americanized and knows almost no Chinese. As such, he is not able to communicate with my parents (not much English). All his life, his friends and family have told him to learn Chinese, to learn more about his own culture. I have started to want him to consider putting learning Chinese into a part of his life. He is very lazy about it, since it's a very painful language to learn, no instant gratification.

How can I convey to him that it's important (to him and to me)? Is this the wrong thing to do? Thoughts?

I'm 28 in a relationship with a man that doesn't have time for me. He use to be a truck driver and I saw that he had more potential than that. So I did what any other girlfriend would do...I pushed him to his potential. Now he's a manager of a big trucking company and doesn't have time for me. He comes home very late every night and when he gets home, wants nothing to do with me or he gets upset with me very easliy. The only real time we have together is whenever he wants sex. I fear that we're growing apart and he's seeing someone else like he did once earlier in our relationship. I don;t want to lose another good relationship, and don;t really know what to do. Am I over reacting? And I don't want to become a paranoid girlfriend. What should I do?

My current boyfriend and I are totally into one another. We recently moved in together and he has really stuck by me through some rough emotional and financial times. He tells me he loves me every day and we rarely argue. However... he is still constantly in contact with his first love (who lives several states away). They were together for two years and he almost proposed to her. He says since they broke up they have remained very close friends. Fine, I can accept that. But they text/email/talk on the phone to each other EVERY DAY. She calls him any time she has a question (something as small as "My back hurts, what should I do?") I think she might be jealous and though he assures me they would never get back together, I still worry and get really jealous when they talk. This is the only thing that we disagree about. If he were as into me as he says he is, why can't he tell her to just back off some? Help...
