Last night my guy-friend & I had a really intense conversation where he basically told me I had no chance in hell. I asked him why and...

he said "because of the intellectual connection - for one.."
I said "Are you calling me stupid?"
he said "no just i can't talk to you at a certain level"
I said "damn, you can be fuc*ing harsh."
he said "straight forward and no I didn't want to tell you that.."

So, I got called stupid, yes?

my cousin's girlfriend and i went shopping so when we came to the store she direspectfully put her goods in my trolley and expected me to pay for it then later asked me to loan her money so i did days later I expected her to pay back she pretended she was busy and did'nt have time so now she gets angry when i asked her my money back and creates problems with my family how should i handle this situation was it wrong to ask for my money back

I love my friends, I really do. They're loyal and they care (to a reasonable extent), but I'm the only one that seems to buy them presents for birthdays and Christmas.

My mother tells me I don't get anything in return and that I should stop giving, but that doesn't seem like the right attitude. What do you think?

Im in college and I have a "love life" outside my schools vincinty. We're thousands of miles away, but we both live in the same city. I meet this special someone while I was and Still am, in college. I've always been the quiet type, sagittraus,and him, chatty, about EVERYTHING, Gemini. At first, we talked for hours, until the sun came up, both east coast and west coast. Now, I barely get 30 minutes. We've been talking for about a month. He wants me to open up and talk, when frankly, there isn't much to talk about being on two different sides of the US, and me being in th middle of the cornfields! I need to know some conversation starters, or something.Because I don't want to lose him.

2006 has brought some good things my way, and some bad things. Don't get me wrong here, things could be a lot worse where I live and I am grateful they aren't.

But next year, my friend and I planned to move away together, see a bit of the world and do something with our lives. She is a seasoned traveller, spent all last year in NZ, India, Thailand etc. and I haven't done anything like this before. I don't know if I am really cut out for it to be honest. I always thought I was happy here.

This year I have had a series of failed relationships with guys and I wanted to go away because nothing much was particularly happening here. Now, however, a guy who I have liked for months and who has gradually been showing more interest in me has admitted he likes me too! I don't know what to do. Another reason I am scared to go is that my mum has MS (multiple sclerosis) and I don't know if I could leave her.She is okay at the moment but I know she could get worse.Can anyone advise me on this?

She has been my girl friend for the past year now, and i really love her, and she loved me too. But 4 weeks ago we got into a fight. she was irritated by me studying and only doing my homework. and not taking her out enough(i used to take her out every week on Fridays and Saturdays). she continued to bug me for 2 hours and i had enough and i told her to mind her own business about that. and she started making a huge issue out of it. i was sick and tired of it and told her to keep her ******* mouth shut. as soon as i said that i realized my mistake. she walked away and started crying. she even didn't come to our next class. her friends almost the whole high school girls came to me and started to scold me and abuse me. i just didn't do anything and kept quiet while my friends took care of the other girls(i don't know how this became such a big issue). but during our school trip we patched up again. i told her i loved her and she said nothing, then the next moment we were kissing. but....

I am moving into an apartment with a married man on the 27th of this month. He hasn't been with his wife for about 4 months. She has filed separation and child support papers. She will likely file for divorce once she is told about the rental agreement we signed. He has two daughters, age 8 and 3. The 8 year old likes me and doesn't mind me hanging around or even dating her father, but she, like most children, ultimately wants mommy and daddy to stay together. Today, he told his daughter that mommy and him were never going to get back together and that he is going to be moving in with me, whether she likes it or not (of course, she's a bit upset, but he did tell her that he loves her very much and always will). It's very unlike me to get involved with a man in this sort of situation, but in my heart, i know it'll all work out. I need some outside feedback to let me know if i am in the middle of something that i shouldn't be in or if i'm right where i belong.

My sister is 13 years old, and we share a room. For a long time, she was constantly "borrowing" my things and leaving them on the floor. Clothes, CDs, makeup, hair products. Nothing was safe. Then I put a stop to that, and said she could no longer borrow anything of mine. Now she's making me feel guilty and starting fights. There was one this morning, and my mom yelled at both of us. I don't hate her, but I HATE living in the same house with her. I don't even want to go home after school and get her attitude again. HELP!!

I have this friends we are good friends. We know each other since we were young. we used to talk allot. about difirent personal things. One day he told me he was gay. Now dont get me wrong its not that i dont like these people or hate them but its the first time i knew one. For the course of moths our comunication wasn't very good and i only talk to him online and not that often. now he has a boyfriend. And i fel very aquered thats why a tried everything to avoid him. iwe havet seen each other in months. I dont want to meet any of his new friends or boy friend. M i doing the right thing. Because i was raised to believe gay is not good (bible). But he was a good friend what should i do. I agreed to go to skating lessons with him, too try to make a conection back with . but i have allot of trouble dealing with the problem that he;s gay. and what people wil think of me when the see me walking next to him. what should i do.
