How do I get over a guy?

We went out for six months. He broke up with me on our anniversary. He was the first person I ever loved.

I am crying... because this is the best advice I've ever gotten.

they say "first love never dies"..that's what they say and that's how it usually is, BUT don't get it swoon you. Keep yourself busy, you can cry at night or when youre with your friends or when youre alone just make sure that the man does not see you crying. No man is ever worth a woman's tears. Yes, you love him, evrybody went through that but be stong girl and you'll never know you'll see yourself one day just having a good laugh at yourself while looking back when you were swooning baout some guy you cant even remember why...there are still a lot to come, this is just to make you better for the next man in line for you. cheer up. women rule!

i really feel for you, i haven't managed this yet myself, but just know that any guy who would dump you on your anniversary is not the kind of guy you want to be with. In a way you were lucky that this happened now and not later down the track. Try not to see him, that makes it far too hard, and eventually you will stop thinking about him, and feel good again. But when you meet someone else you will realise that he was never that great. Try to distract yourself, and time will heal everything.

Over time you will get over this asshole. I can't believe he broke up with you on ur anniversary. I know he was ur first love and all but it's not good to keep beating yourself up about it. Just look at it as an experience and you'll find someone else that's true to you and loves you and wants nobody but you.

to be honest you never totally get over your first real love . but in time you will fall in love agian .. just take your time and do some soul searching take this time for you to revamp and dont worry so much about love that will happen in time right now is you time and when it comes down to it you just need to relax and see what happens next and when the love of your life does come along you will see that this guy wasnt as much of a love as you thought he was just teaching you one part of what your soul mate had that you needed in a love

Well then, you must be young and full of life.

Best way is to find a rebound guy. Find someone that can distract you till you get over your "love."

BTW...for what it's worth. Most people go thru 2-3 true loves before finding their "soul mate."

I understand compltely. It is not going to be easy at all. But you know the best thing is TIME AND SAPCE. You hav to b apart from him to figure out who you are w/o him. while that is going on you are giving your heart time todeal with it. You will b fin eventually.

have fun... do things that you love most.. go out with your friends chat with them..... he broke up with you, do you wanna put yourself down more than what he did when he broke up with you... or move on now.. before you get hurt more... ???? there are lots of guys out there much much BETTER than him.
