You are the "key" player on a team if you are the person most important for making the team work, so....if you want to give an engagement ring to someone, you eventually give the "key" ring, or most important, the ring that represents the vital part in a couple's relationship...marriage. Sounded good 2 me!!

If you want to give your girl an engagement ring, you could tell her that you are giving her the "key" ring, because you are giving her the keys to your heart.

It is useful for holding keys together, you can get many novelty key rings some of which have other practical applications such as a torch light or a pen knife. they can also be used for making your keys more visible in a bag or easier to find in a pocket because they can be quite big and bright.

You could make it a "magical" key ring, with keys that unlock all sorts of fantastic things that you can't unlock in the real world...like unlock the mystery of life...etc. etc.
