You should flirt with this guy and see his reactions. If he smiles and starts to always flirt with you first and gives you hugs all the time then you should ask him out. Just make sure that he doesn't hug every girl and flirt with them. Plus you can always just ask him what he likes in a girl and if you fit those qualities then you really need to go for it. I know what you mean about getting heartbroken by tryna ask a boy out. It happens to me all the time...I dunno why. I'm pretty and everything but I dunno. Sooo just go for it and if he rejects you don't feel too bad about it. You'll get over it in time. But i'm pretty sure he likes u back just do what I said above and you'll find out.

Two things. 1) You could not ask him out and not risk anything. Of course then you'll never know what could or could not have happened. 2) Ask him out on the risk he will say yes.
If he is smart he will accept. But let's face, not all people are smart so be prepared if he declines. If he does, then it is his lost.
Your heart can only be broken if you give someone the ability to do so. It is your heart. Be a loving but strong person. No one can hurt that.

Umm....these words come to mind..."nothing ventured nothing gained"...how will you know if you don't try?....fear is our biggest enemy...once you get past that you will be free, remember life it'self is risk, to love is risk not being loved in return... to show emotions is a risk of appearing weak, but if we live our lives without risk, we then need not hope for anything, and we have forfeited our chance to grow, and really live life, there are no guarantees that your heart wont get broken again, but bear this in mind, what dosent kill you makes you stronger, don't let fear rule your life, if you do you will have learned nothing.
