Firstly you need to remember why you stopped going in the first place. Is the reason resolved. If not do not go back again. If the reason has been resolved and you are sure nothing is going to occur again and you feel you can handle your mum day in day out then go back. But leave it open so as you may change your mind at any time with out causing upset, to any one including yourself. Also make sure your mum wants you back do not just turn up.

Why did you leave the first time? That's a question that you should answer before asking for the job again. I know by experience that working with family is not always PEACHES AND CREAM. So think things over twice.
Good luck.

well yeah you should go! I bet you didnt hesitate taking that money she handed you when you were growning up, or opening the refrigerator and eating the food she bought for you! Not trying to be rude here, but your kind of self centered i think. That pretty bad when you have to ask strangers if yuo should help the woman who raised you!

If you`re not working right now you should go and help her! Time for a little pay back on your part. You might even enjoy it!

Of course you need to help her until you find a job for your self.

if ur mum needs ur assistance and u dont have anything else to do, why not? and why did u stop? if u have some other work to do (job, studies?), talk to her abt it.

Ask her if you can get paid. how old are you? and see if she won't pay you full price maybe half of what she would pay someone else. you should get something for working all day.

Do you really want to work there? Do you have another job? I would talk to her about it...
