Me and one of my ex girlfriend who i'm deeply in love with was suppose to go to the prom and then she started talking about all these others guys and how she want me to pay for everything. so i told her that i didnt want to go to the prom with her anymore and then i seen her at prom with this dude! now me and her don't talk at all, but i still deeply in love with her and can't get over her what do i do?

I was with my daughters father for 6 years right after our daughter was born he decided that he wanted to cheat. I found out about this girl when i called his house one day and she answered the phone. She didnt know me from adam and steve and she was just going on and on how she didnt like me or my daughter and she didnt even know us. to make a long story short he ended up marrying this girl despite all of the nasty things that she said about my daughter.Now he tells me that he still loves me and that we were suppose to be together. When he is around her he puts up this front and say nasty things to me and just all around rude. Then he would call and try to make up when she is gone. I let her hear voice messages that he has left and she still thinks that i want her husband. He has left her once for another woman and she still think that he could be trusted. They even had a little girl and she thought that child would replace my daughter. How do i deal with someone like her.

Maybe it's me but i have dealt with men who thought about themselves sexually; they want to be the ones to get off but when it came to reciprocate they aren't willing.

My husband’s nieces and nephews are between 6 and 13. Every year I have tried to select nice gifts for their birthdays and Xmas. At first, we used to ask their mom what to get and got it. Sometimes she is frugal about it, and sometimes she has no problem asking us to get $40 gifts. Last Xmas, I got our eldest niece jewelry. I found out she returned it the day after Xmas, after hearing how much she loved it. I found out by accident as the retailer contacted me for card info. Anyway, I understand trying to not hurt our feelings, but I feel my efforts are going unappreciated. And when I tell her what to get my kids—she agrees and then doesn’t do it. And doesn’t tell me…then I find myself having to get gifts I thought my kids were getting. I think gift cards are impersonal, however, I think it is the way to go. The problem is the monetary options. I think $50 is a bit too much. And $25 might seem too cheap since we usually spend about $30-35. Thoughts?

I am 22 and my boyfriend is 30. He has two daughter's 9yrs & 4yrs. I am meeting them for the first time next Saturday after dating him for 10 months. What are some ideas we can we all four do that night that will give me a chance to get to know them and they get to know me? How do I bond with two young girls? Any ideas? I love my daughter but, she has lie, to get her way. Even to the point were her father was accused of rape, just so she didn't have to come home. Now she will be turning 18 this month and I'm afraid she will sign her self out. She has little to no social skills. Has finished high school. Has no Job. And wil have no place to go.
Her father and I would welcome her home but it has gotten to the point were she will have to ask to come home. To many lies and to many. Hurt feelings.

I have a coworker that keeps telling me that she would like to come over and see my new place. The thing is - I do not really care for this person and do not want her to know where I live. I have been casually avoiding it but she is becoming more and more persistent saying things like, "I'm over your way almost every weekend because my friends live right there. I could just stop by." I have been with my guy now for over four years and i know i love him that is not the issue here..I have never really dated before or have never been in love whatsoever. Now my question is this me and him are best friends i can and do talk to him about whatever is bothering me and he is always there to help me out never judging me or anything. I am bipolar/add and he is my rock if you know what i mean. He is wonderful to me and is the biggest help when im down or if im kinda confused or upset. I have alot of family issues im not going to go into here but he is the one that has helped me get some of them worked out to where im able to function alot better now with all of them. Anyhow, how do you know if what you have is TRUE love or just best friends? I mean i know from all the reading on here and all that when you are IN love with someone it is good to also be best friends with them right? How do you know the difference? My friend Venessa Just got out of a relationship of about 2 years...her boyfriend whom she was living with at the time said that he just wanted to be friends....he did not elaborate on this but they seemingly had the perfect relationship. She did everything for him and they never faught...so needless to say she is really not taking it well. Anyways I have convinced her all week not to call him...to wait for him to call her. She moved in with her friend for the time being but she is seriously considering calling him tommarow...To me...shouldnt she wait for him to call? I mean me being a guy know that pity might bring them back together but it won't hold them together...she is searching for answers and im afraid that calling him will only hurt her more. And no I do not like her like that.

I'm a working mum of 2yr old daughter+6yr old step-daughter. Me+my partner have fully supported my step-daughter forever.
Fair do's, I really don't get on with his ex.This is mainly because I don't agree with her lifestyle(claims to be a single parent-she's not,never worked, benefit fraud,etc.. basic social scum).
As she has had another baby with(yet another) partner, she was cont by CSA. And we must now start paying money to the government(this money is to cover the income support she receives each month).
My grievance is NOT with paying the money. BUT with the fact that if she worked this would not be an issue+we would be able to carry on the way we were doing it before(we supply all her clothes,shoes,school uniform+other stuff). We now are paying money, so we can't afford to buy these things for her. But neither can her mother as she is getting the same as she was before from her benefits.
Basically, why should we all pay for the mothers simple choice of not working?
