There is absolutely nothing wrong with holding your boyfriends hand. I was embarrassed the first time I ever held a boys hand in middle school, but it was also a nice feeling to know there's someone there to care for you. :)

Holding hands is a sign of togetherness and strength. By all means hold hands. Plus its really cute seeing couples together holding hands. Makes people close

Heather - I have to assume you are younger by your question. I am 51 and I have a "boyfriend". I feel silly saying it, lol. We love to hold hands, in public and alone. Its a very special and intimate thing to both of us and we feel its a symbol of the connection between us.
Having said how we feel, think about it, holding hands is safe, you cannot get pregnant, you cannot get at STD, no one can even really assume you are an exclusive couple. Its one of the greatest things two people can do.

Holding hands is so important to any relationship. It's a social practice carried out at those moments when words are not necessary. It's telling him I love you and I want other people to know how I feel about you. Pathological It Is. It's a matter of instinct. Humans need contact.

Why would you not want to hold hands with your boyfriend? In my experience a little PDA is alright and it lets the other person know you are really into them. So go ahead and grab his hand!!!
