You know how they say people can tell when they're dreming and change their dream or wake themselves up? Well, I never know when I'm dreaming. I always think it's really happening. And as far as waking myself up, that only happens when it's a really bad dream and I start crying in it, which means I cry out loud in my sleep and that's what wakes me up. Also, how can you wake up from a dream and when you go back to sleep, resume right back to the same place in the same dream??

First off I realize that this isn't a major problem just trying to find a good way to bring up that this upset me.

Anyways this past weekend was my birthday and my boyfriend told me a while back he was going to get me a gift, which he didn't, and then on my birthday was going to take me to dinner but we changed plans. On sunday when i brought it up he said he didn't have the money. I've been trying to not get upset about this because he was laid off from his job semi-recently.

Last night he and I went out and he spent 125 on a new game/console that he's been wanting, and the asked me to buy him food!

Maybe i'm being petty but this bothers me.
What's a good way to bring it up to him?

ok.. i was just wondering i dont really drink ever so i dont know this but i was jsut curious.. if someone is drunk and they are telling you how they feel and stuff like if you have known them for a really long time.. are they most likely telling you the truth? like something they wouldnt tell you normally and they tell you. is it truth? so if your drunk do you usally just say how you feel and its not really lies?

By her own admission, she is not really close to anyone, inc. her friends and never has been. But anyways, the "closer" we get, the more distant she gets. I have asked her what's going on before, and she said all her relationships go like this, that she thinks about me every day, she wants me but worries b/c she wants to want us but says it's like she is afraid to let herself just be happy. How do you start dating again when you have come out of a long term relationship?

I've been with my boyfriend for 8 yrs and he cheated...we split for a year and got back together and suprise suprise he cheated again and told me he doesn't love me in 'that way' anymore - which was really hurtful.....
We have since split again and he has moved out...i don;t want him back but it's hard to start meeting people again.....
How do other people do it cos you always seem to compare things to your last boyfriend....

I've been with my girlfriend for 5 years (since age 18) and I've always maintained that I wanted to marry her but I wanted to be financially stable abd able to support her. I could not respect myself as a man if I could not provide for my wife, so I've always said wanted to wait to get married till then. I am starting grad school and am about 2 years away from having a stable career; However my GF is getting impatient, and it is causing alot of of stress in our relationship. We are both students scraping by, should I just give and head down to the courthouse?

my father had a lover whom I never met. I was a little child when it happened. My father and mother were never happy together. My mother and my brothers have always neglected me because I have always spoken the truth. So, I must say that I have no family at all. And then, I wonder if I might have a sister somewhere. I live in Brazil but I teach English and have been many times to the USA, that's why most of my questions are posted in English. I am not young anymore, I am on my 50ths but I have been thru a LOT in my life and I wonder if there might be a way that God shows me that I have someone else that has my blood. My father passed away and my family does not talk to me. What should I do? Thanks a lot. I love making new friends too because most of the time I am all by myself besides my job, which I love and my friends there.

My bf grew up around lesbos, therefore he acts like a girl.People are being really annoying telling me that him dating me is just a coverup for his being gay. i have a mate who has not been single for more than a month in the past 2 years. Everytime he breaks up with his girlfriend he has to move onto another to feel vaguely content. His last girlfriend he cheated on 3 times, they have now split up and he is completely at loss with himself. He cannot concentrate on anything and seems to just want to drift into depression. I can't understand why he can only feel happy when he is with someone, and why he has such an issue about being single. Can anyone help?
