From personal experiance, while drinking your inhabitions are lowered and you feel like you can say or do anything. So most of the time it is the truth coming out, while other times it's just the alcohol talking because you want something to go on so you make something happen. Just becareful who you are drinking around, people who don't know you could take things the wrong way.

i think when people drink it makes them let out more emotions then they would if they were sober. and there is no sure way to know if ur friend was tellin u the truth. if i were u i would tell them what they said and ask them if its the truth. and make sure that they know that u wanna have a serious conversation about it. but when im drunk i share my feelings whether they're good or bad. and i tell the truth. it probably is different for each person.

Very good question! Unfortunately, the answer isn't so clear-cut. It could be yes, or no. Only your friend knows the answer. As a general rule, ignore what a drunk says to you; but sometimes, people are truthful when drunk. Sorry!

Well I dont drink anymore but well I drunk it caused me to feel more relaxed and more bold, so to answer your question I think many tell the truth. Many people drink to ecape reality but it doesn't mean they are not truthful. I have seen people do things that they would never do sober, so if your friend lies sober they probaly tell the truth drunk. lol

A drunk will tell you they are fine to drive...is that true... A drunk will tell someone that they do not like when sober "I love you man!" is that true? There is no telling what someone that is drunk will say and you can neither take it as truth or disregard it completely.

I think emotions are blown out or proportion when you are drunk. I have lied before when I was drunk but they don't call it liquid courage for nothing. A person could get drunk and tell you something they aren't brave enough to tell you normally.

well I know when I drink I tend to let the real me out and tell everyone what I think of them and how I feel for them, but regret it in the morning, I know some guys will do it cause they just want one more good time out of you, but most guys are not like that! Could be true or false wait till there sober and ask if they still feel that way, can not hide your face expressions!

Jessie, sorry I DON'T drink. However, whatever that he does after he must have come to himself will determine whether he has been telling you the truth or not. How can you place his sincerity and love affection to you when he is his normal self before he gets drunk. I think you're the one that can answer all these questions with all sincerity. Please, think and act right. Cheers!
