I have been dating this guy named R.J and I like him but he I like this guy named Emory too my best friend Andrew HATES R.J but he said to break-up with R.J and not to like Emory.....what do I do?

well I'd talk to him about it. And tell him its either me or "Emory" ya know. If your friend doesn't like R.J just tell him right now I'm gonna have to figure out the situation is on my own weather I want to break up with him or not. But like I said talk to R.J about it and be calm. I know it would be hard. but you can do it. hope this advise helped a little. Good luck!

The truth is, you are not confused at all. You don't want to commit to either of them, you want to open Pandora's Box. The only advice I can give you is leave them both alone, for someone will get hurt or even worse....! This other guy, your "best friend Andrew" can't decide for you. You must make your own decisions about who you are going to be with. He very well may have feelings for you or just doesn't want you happy. (Hence, misery loves company: because if he had someone of his own, he wouldn't be so interested in your relations/ affairs.) You are not ready to settle with anyone right now, how else can you fall for someone other than R. J. while with him? Basically, you need to just do you. Love triangles or pyramids always crumble. At this day and age, it would not be wise to play with anyone's feelings, some people are not equipped to handle such pressure while others simply won't stand for it. I guess you are just a teenager. There are always so many different choices all the time.
Bear in mind that people are not articles you can pick up at stores and buy. They have intention and feelings, just like you.
Maybe you should lay low for a while and decide what kind of experience you are willing to engage. Enjoy your time with them as friends, make new friends, then make sure what you really want to do (at least in the near future).

I think Andrew has a little problem. It is not for him to decide on who you like and who you should date. If he is a true friend then he should just be there for you and maybe point out what he sees in the guys good and bad then let you be the one to decide. Why not just date anybody you like. You do not have to have "A" boyfriend. Go to the movie this one and go out for something to eat with that one (no hanky panky though) maybe a kiss goodnight and that is it if you are dating more than one guy. Don't make yourself look bad and feel bad by doing more. It is your life, be good to yourself!!. Maybe Andrew has a secret crush on you. :)

stop letting other people live your life. Ask Anderw whats wrong with RJ and Emory. Are they Jerks only out for sex? are they guys who kiss and tell. what does he see that you don't?
if he can't come up with a good answer then date them yourself and see if you like them. Then loose Andrew who wants to be more than a friend.

You need to follow your own heart. I must say friends usually have a keen sense of others when we are blinded by cuteness or whatever it is.... so maybe your friend has a point on breaking up with RJ maybe he isn't good for you, but you have to deciede that. Don't let someone deciede for you. I think you need to follow your own heart and head... you seem like a smart girl so don't stress!!! Also maybe you should talk to your friend to see why he hates these guys so much..... it sounds like maybe your friends likes you a little aswell, do of course he isn't going ot want to see you with another guy. The one dating this kid is you not your best friend. A true friend will want your happiness and accept the situation with this guy regardless of their feelings. Have you asked Andrew why all the animosity with these guys? He may have feelings for you, that is why he is so quick to tell you to dismiss these two...ultimately the decision is yours and no one else's.
