my father had a lover whom I never met. I was a little child when it happened. My father and mother were never happy together. My mother and my brothers have always neglected me because I have always spoken the truth. So, I must say that I have no family at all. And then, I wonder if I might have a sister somewhere. I live in Brazil but I teach English and have been many times to the USA, that's why most of my questions are posted in English. I am not young anymore, I am on my 50ths but I have been thru a LOT in my life and I wonder if there might be a way that God shows me that I have someone else that has my blood. My father passed away and my family does not talk to me. What should I do? Thanks a lot. I love making new friends too because most of the time I am all by myself besides my job, which I love and my friends there.

No, I don't think it's crazy... I think it's very possible.
My dad admitted to my older brother that when he was oversea in the army, during WW2, he was with another woman... & we might have a sibbling because of it.
My dad & mom have both passed away.
I've been thru a lot in my life too... since birth.
I'm in my 50's, too.
If you ask her, maybe your mother will tell you who your dad's lover was so you can find out if you have another sibbling... you would need the name of the woman your dad was with.
I hope & pray God will lead you to your sibbling, if there is one.
You're never really alone... the Lord is always with you... & you have friends.
Friends can oftentimes be better blessings than some family members.

In God's eye's we are all brother and sisters. Am sure you have a good friend that you consider a true friend, so much as she or he could be called your sister or brother. I have learned you do not have to be blood to be brother or sister but a bond. The fact your parents may not have had a good relationship and there may be someone out there you should not worry about. Remember when you are alone that God is there for you. And so are your real good friends all together that is a family.

Its not crazy at all.. alot of times people think they have a sister or brother out there from their parents past relashionships. Because you really never know. but alot of times there really are n o sisters or brothers they dont know about. .but again you really never know. Do some more seaching if you want to set your mind at ease. but in reality.. majority you never find them. or they never exsisted. or nothing will be told to you by your parents if anything. good luck.

If you can afford it, I'm sure there are PI's out there that could find the other woman and any children she had. G/L, almost sounds like a plot for a mystery novel.
