dont compliment her on her physical beauty. ask her personality-based questions, like what she enjoys doing, how she spent her day, what kinds of things make her happy. dont barrage her with a questionnaire, talk about those same topics from your perspective as well. then, be sure to compliment her on the aspects of her personality she reveals
first of all, you need to know what kind of qualities in a woman you want. it could be a sense of humor, adventurous, loves kids, enviromental, whatever it is, these are like the target qualities that you try to get out of her. then relate be saying that youre that same kind of person, or you feel the same way, and tell her that you find that quality very sexy and attractive in her. this way you will connect emotionally and create a good bond between you two. make sure its a quality that you genuinely find appealing, that way the connection will be based on something real
just make sure you dont emphasize on her physical beauty, or if you do, take it back in a funny way. like if she does something a little odd or dorky, tell her "geez, i cant believe you did that, man its a good thing youre cute or i would have been out the door!" say it with a playful tone and it will come across as a compliment (telling her she's cute), and also make her try to redeem herself a bit, rather than you impressing her all the time. use this format everytime you make a compliment, and youll find shes becoming more attracted
before the date is over, try to establish the next time youll be together. not just "i'll call you" but have a follow up event lined up, see how it fits her schedule and invite her.
damn, i think i answered too much more than what you asked, anyway, be spontaneous but have a plan. good luck

Don't "praise her beauty," save that for later. A really cool thing to do is find out about the history of the establishment you're in and simply bring it up......then you can go into wanting to own a business and if SHE had a business, what would it be.....she'll start blabbing about this or that and you go from there. be well.

Just start with other topics to get you two talking more about yourselves. Don't go straight into praising her beauty. Save that for later when you start to know each other better.

Actually, don't start with a compliment. If a guy starts with a compliment, it can sometimes sound like they've been planning it or they say that to everyone. A girl wants to feel like you really mean it when you compliment her. Instead, try asking her about herself. "What do you do", ""I like this music, what kind of music do you like", etc. Make sure you say something that can go somewhere. If you say something like "This coffee is really good" what's she supposed to say? "Yep!" That's not going to be a very long or good conversation! What ever you say, just make sure you're yourself. And give her some GENUINE compliments!

Always to get the other person to talk about themselves. If some guy were to praise my beauty, I'd be out the door...that's just b.s.

naturally, it depends on the respective woman.
on the 1st few dates, remember its all about her! nothing else! everything you say and do must revolve around her... make her feel important and special.
even if she talks about you... answer her, and then bring it back to her and what her answer to the same question would be.
my suggestion for a first coffee topic would be to ask her why she likes what she ordered and then take it off from there to her other likes/dislikes...
enjoy!

Say "Wow, you look great". Praising her beauty may come off as a little, um, cheesy. Then talk about books, movies, music, whatever.

You got it Maverick! Compliment her on something....anything (almost). Just make sure your body language matches what comes out of your mouth. Don't do anything dumb like stare at the waitress or another chick at the next table while you're telling her that she looks amazing--she won't believe it. Be sure you maintain good eye contact, help her with her coat, and watch intently when she speaks. got it? good.

Dont tell her that her eyes look like blue marbel. A guy said that to me once and I almost wanted to laugh at him. DOnt compliment her in a corny way.
