i have a friend who gets on with most people and likes to have a good time when we go out (Not too much of a good time) and have a little dance!, but a stranger went up to her and told her she was intimidating!

how can confidence be confused with being intimidating?

My father and Mother divorced before I was 2. After the divorce, I rarely saw my father. He moved away when I was 12-13 and I didnt see or hear from him until I was 21. He came to our town and someone saw him and told my brother he was in town. My brother had to search him out, and then he brought him to my house. I saw him for maybe 30 minutes. I never saw him again. I just recieved a phone call last thursday from a friend of his saying that he had leukemia and would be dying very soon. He would like for me to come and see him. Do you think it would be good for me to see him...or just another disappointment?

My boyfriend (we live together) has an ex /broke up with three years ago. He swears he does not like her, but his friends tell me the following: "She drives by our house, cried when we moved in, talks about him all the time, asks tons of questions about me, tries to go to any event that he will be there, brings guys to make him jealousetc" She has called him at 2:00 in the morning, texted him all day when we have been at common events, emails, etc.
Then-she confronted me at a bar, told me she was going to get him back, I had moved into HER house, and threatned me. She also said I don't know him like I think I do.
CONCLUSION: We saw her a bar on Friday, and my boyfriend completely ignored her the whole time. Then he said he wanted to say good bye to her/ told me to wait outside. I did not, he talked to her for 10 min. He has lied about talking to her, so I checked his phone. He had a one hr phone call two wks ago and hid it. He also yelled at me, called me psycho and crazy. Cheater?

I'am 22 and currently in search of that significant other. I'am a very busy with my job and school during the week. In my free time, I go surfing, to church, and do other things in town to keep busy. Anyway, while doing all of this, I have meet and dated many girls. The problem is that most of them were in the 18-20 year old range. It's strange, because I would think that I would run into someone who is my age or older, but I have not. Because of my past experiences, I choose to no longer date 18-20 year old girls (I call them girls because most of them dont act like WOMEN) because they tend to be very immature, spoiled, and looking for the wrong things in a guy. It seems like every girl in the college-aged group at chruch that I go to is in the 18-20 year-old range. What is a good age-range for a guy like me? I'am 22 and I like to date WOMEN, not GIRLS. Where do I need to go to meet girls who are my age or older? It seems that 21 is a good cutoff age. Am I right? Please help.

I have been knowing this guy for a few months. I met him at work and we would have lunch and stuff together everyday and text and call back and forth. Well he got laid-off and I broke up with my boyfriend the same day, so we had sex that night. He has gotten a new job since then guys... A good one... Anyway, we talk or text often, both initiating the calls and he sometimes says things that make me feel like he's feeling me out. We have had sex quite a few times since then, but he's also spent the night and not had sex with me on several occasions. He I am new to this whole single thing and I don't want to just come out and ask him too soon and push him away. How could I tell him that I don't want to just have sex with him without making it seem like I am giving him an altimatum? Does he really like me?

I recently broke up with a guy I've dated for almost a year. His response was basically a "You can't fire me, I quit" - sorta thing. He has anger management issues and is basically ignoring me altogether, even when I tried to amicable/civil. He's trying to get at me with apathy, and unfortunately, it's working.

What's a good way to get over this? I've been in break-ups before, but for some reason, this one is affecting me more than the others...not necessarily because I thought he was "the one"...far from it. I guess more from a bruising of my ego.

Even after the break-up, we still talk late on the phone for hours, we get jealous if the other one start talking to the opposite sex, we still have each other's email accounts' passwords, still keep kind of a check on each other's emails, still wanna meet, we just dont find interest in others, n unfortunately due to a reason cant be together, we both feel sad about it and cant do anything...i dont know...does this happen with everyone?

Ok so you've been casually hanging out with a guy for the last 3 months and he randomly kisses you. Three weeks later he tells you it's you, and it's only ever been you. He says he doesn't have much to offer, asks if you want to come hang out at his place that night. you say no b/c you're sick, but another time. Next week he's busy with something legitmate for work. You chat briefly via email, and invite him out with friends casually, leaving it open ended ex/ "if you're up for it, we're doing this. If interested, here's my number." You never hear anything.

I guess my question is this a big deal? Does it mean he's suddenly not interested, or something else was coming up, or he hates phones? Is he just looking for sex? If someone tells you that you're basically that you're it, then fails to follow up, how do you take that? Am I reading something wrong here?

prosecute a mother for lying about her income to child support ( she said she made less than minimum wage) but then bought a 2004 car, and got a new apartment ( she told them her income was 3000 a month). She is a big time casino junkie.. hustler but always broke. She masterminded a payment of 1,044 a month for 1 child, and the judge ordered it to reflect to the date of birth. she claimed a 400a month child care expense and some more bs and they gave it to her, well now the father has custody, but he still owes 14,000 of back support. we have filed a motion to modify and we go to court nov.6 requesting all arreages be dropped because she provided false information to obtain more money. Do you think the District attorney will prosecute her? Shouldn't she be punished, put in jail.I want her to go to jail. she left this baby that we have now with numerous people, didnt give them any money,seems like she was tryin to use the baby 4 getin more $.we took him while she was filin 4 diabilit

My husband and I have been seperated for almost 6 months now. We both agreed we are going through with the divorce, we have just not actually got it yet, mostly becasue we are too busy (we both work a lot and I am also taking care of our 3 year old and 5 month old). I met someone, I wasn't looking, it just happened. Before I went any further with this man I spoke with my husband one final time and asked if he was absolutely positive he wanted to be done and go through with the divorce. He said without a doubt yes. So me and this other man are now going out and I finally told my husband and he is so jealous and mad and says that what I am doing is so wrong. I feel bad now, but I honestly felt like we were as good as divcorced. FYI...we seperated when I kicked him out because of being physically and emotionally abusive to me and sometimes in front of our children.
