Even after the break-up, we still talk late on the phone for hours, we get jealous if the other one start talking to the opposite sex, we still have each other's email accounts' passwords, still keep kind of a check on each other's emails, still wanna meet, we just dont find interest in others, n unfortunately due to a reason cant be together, we both feel sad about it and cant do anything...i dont know...does this happen with everyone?

No. It does not happen with everyone.

I think its clear that there is more to this. Both of you are still in the couple mode. If the reason that u mentioned is strong enough, then try to distance yourself. Otherwise, just get back to being a couple!

It's not natural to possess anyone even if you are a couple. None of us owns anyone. For what ever reason you two can't be together, don't try to make it be an internet relationship. It sounds like one of you could be married and what you're doing isn't helping matters any. There's a reason a couple becomes an ex and once that happens let it be. We don't always understand these things. Start being with people you have something in common with. Start a new hobby. Join a local church and get involved. Do things that takes up the time you and he used to spend together. Remove his pictures and the gifts he gave you. Spend some time answering yahoo questions. This is just to name a few things. What is it supposed to mean by keeping check on each other. What you two are doing is trying to be a couple when you're not a couple. You're only succeeding in making each other miserable. You need to let go.

Yes it does happen to everyone. If you guys are broke up and still possessive of each other than that is not right. You should try to forget about him or her and move on, it would probably be the best thing for you to do. But it is alright to still be friends with each other, but if it didnt work out after you dated then it probably means that you werent supposed to be dating. Believe me I know I have had plenty of break-ups and experience with relationships. I think the best thing for you to do is move on.

It sounds like you both still have feelings for each other. I don't know the reason you can't be together, but maybe it is something that you could work out.

Not always. It depends on the circumstances, reason for breakup.
if the breakup is mutual then yes one would experience this just like in your case.
If the breakup is because the person was cheating then it would be not be the same case.
