Because they're purposely trying to tempt men. You'll find that the women who wear the skimpiest outfits are typically the ones with the lowest self esteem, who use men's sexual attention as a way to feel good about themselves.

I don't think women newscasters dress showing more flesh but outside of professional setting, it is OK.
IMHO, women who are confident of their sexuality need not show much flesh. Those who show lots of flesh are those newbie starlets who are desperate for attention.
Men do know how to undress women with their eyes so scantily clothed does not work all the time unless the woman has supermodel body. Women with less fantastic bodies who dress scantily are actually shocking !.
I find less scantily clothed women like Michelle Pfeiffer, Melissa Kanakaderes, Faith Hill more sexy.

Because modest clothing sucks! Sexy is great if you have it flaunt it. Otherwise stop trying to take us backwards. Be progressive take pride in your body and your sexuallity!

because it's my body and my choice. if i want to walk around half naked, then by golly i will do so!
just umm....if my gut has gone past my waistline and my love handles are falling over my belt....then yeah i would need to cover up.
and i could be naked and if a guy is in love with another woman, he wouldn't notice me. but if a man is gonna look, he's gonna look. dressed in head to to or not.

Because men should be able to control themselves. Why should I censor myself because what I MIGHT do MAY tempt some man??
