Lately, I've really wanted tell my ex that i love him. I still have feelings for him but i've never been in love, i just care for him a lot as a person. I felt strongly when we were together but didn't tell him b/c I was scared but lately I realized that he should know how I feel. So I went to go see him (we stayed friends) and before I could say anything, he told me he's gay and i'm one of the first he's told. I was shocked but decided to tell him anyway b/c whether gay or straight, it's still how I feel and wanted to do what I came there to do- which is to let him know how much I care. I ended up getting really emotional at the time and now I feel stupid because I'm afraid I scared him and that now he thinks I'm just totally in love with him and really dumb and pathetic. I'm happy he's able to be who he is and I don't have any delusions, I'd just like to stay close. Was it wrong for me to say anything if there was no pt? I'm afraid I made things awkward and ruined our friendship.

I am 8 months pregant with baby 3 and he has a "single mother" co-worker (that he admitted is attractive) that he takes breaks with, emails at work and goes out to lunch with on occasions. Now I found out that they have nicknames for each other too. I have never met her but he wants us to get together with the kids and all go to the park, should I be jealous or should I just go?

ok, here's the situation. my wife in college had an intimate relationship with her female dorm room mate. he former girlfriend/lover is in town and they have plans to go out on the town... no big deal. anyway, the question came up that if they wound up in bed together again, would that be cheating... she says no. though I don't find it objectionable... kinda exciting actually, I say it is.
also, if the situation was reversed (me and another male... which would never happen...ick!) she says that would be cheating.
her reasoning is because two women together lack the anatomy to have intercourse where as 2 men can, that defines cheating...so which is it?

We have a bunch of relatives scattered across the world and would like to send them our wedding invitation although most of them wouldn't be able to make it. I've found this line that's very nicely worded , just right for our situation:

" If you are unable to attend we ask your presence in though and prayer. "

I'm not sure where to place the above line though.

This is how our invitation is worded:
Ceremony
Reception
RSVP
Our wedding website link

Should it be after the Ceremony and Reception paragraph? Or after the Reception paragraph?

What is the appropriate way to do this?

Thanks!

I have not had a serious relationship in over a year. I have not had a date either. I'm afraid of rejection but am otherwise outgoing. Where are the nice guys at and how can I get over my rut?

There are obvioulsly issues and acrimony on both sides but isn't she becoming a figure of hate over the viscious and public way she is conducting her divorce to Paul McCartney? After all he was happily married for about 30 years before her. Is it possible he's turned into a monster in 3 years?

If you’re dating someone, and you love them and it’s a good relationship, how much does it matter what other people think? Should you break up if others think it’s wrong, or that you shouldn’t be together? Talking about two adults here. Does it matter if you’re different ages, races, religions, nationalities, etc? If society thinks it’s wrong, does that matter to you?

I am tired of waiting for some construction guys to come rip up my walls to test around my window and it's driving me nuts. I should've told them no they can't come over. I hate waiting for them, and who knows if they will leave a mess?

So, I have asked this question many times because I still can't get over it. My BF left me to see if he could rekindle his ex's love. She came to him and asked him back. He said he still loves me but he needs to see where they will go. I told him I would wait for him and hope that if he doesn't work out, he will remember that we loved each other. He says he can't come back to me because he doesn't deserve me. They went out for 1 1/2 years and broke up several times during that time. Do you think they will work out? And if not, will he come back to me? I don't want to know if I should take him back or not, just if you think he will come back? And also, how long do you think it will take? It's been almost 3 weeks now.

i just recently dated this very nice girl. she's extremely friendly, yet i feel she was a bit aloof on our first date. i had a tough time breaking the ice 'coz she's quite the silent type and as for me, i was quite shy around her too 'coz i know she does modelling and i feel i'm way out of her league. when we went out with friends, we were the only two who were silent. we sent text messages to each other during dinner (even if were seated beside each other), asking each other if we were comfortable or not. then she asked that i take her home early... i sensed she was bored with my company. so i did take her home, gave her a peck on the cheek by her doorway and headed back to the restaurant where my friends were.

the following day, i sent a text message asking if she wanted to go out. she said she just wants to rest. then i sent two more text messages later that day just to ask if she was alright, and finally to greet her goodnight. unfortunately there was no reply. what should i do?

During arguments my husband tells me that he is tired and done with me and that he will be gone by the end of the month. We end up making up or putting the argument behind us and when I ask him if he really meant what he said he always says that he said it out of anger. Its been said so many times I am beginning to believe it and thinking that he doesn't care or even love me.

my friend has been friends with this guy for a while you can say that they are friends with benefits. She really doesnt know if he has a girlfriend or not it never comes up in conversation. she told me that he is always wondering if she is sleeping with someone else or if she doesnt call him that she is acting funny. They always seem to see each other at parties and for some odd reason he is watching her the whole entire time that they are there. He wants to know so much about her but never wants to tell her anything about hisself. How should she handle this situation.
