ok, here's the situation. my wife in college had an intimate relationship with her female dorm room mate. he former girlfriend/lover is in town and they have plans to go out on the town... no big deal. anyway, the question came up that if they wound up in bed together again, would that be cheating... she says no. though I don't find it objectionable... kinda exciting actually, I say it is.
also, if the situation was reversed (me and another male... which would never happen...ick!) she says that would be cheating.
her reasoning is because two women together lack the anatomy to have intercourse where as 2 men can, that defines cheating...so which is it?

When you are with someone else, male male or female female it is cosidered cheating. HOWEVER...there is a grey area here. Since you know about it, and haven't put your foot down saying, no you can't sleep with this women, it is no longer cheating, it's swinging. So, you need to be a man and tell her NO you can't see this women because you two are going to sleep together, or tell her you should be involved(aka threesome). Problem solved :)

Its guys like you that I cannot stand! If your wife does follow through and sleep with this other female yes it is cheating and you will deserve everything that is going to come to you once it happens. Just by you stating "it's kinda exciting" makes me want to vomit. Why do men find this act sooooooooo exciting, and now you want to call it cheating? Your already condoneing it by getting turned on about it. Your sick. If you really loved your wife you wouldn't even think about her being with another women or man. Now if you would have posted the question like a real man and said that you could not stand the sight of your wife being touched by another women and it would hurt you, then I would have sympathy for you. But I dont. I hope she does it and leaves you for the other women because lets face it SHES BISEXUAL. Your lacking somewhere if she is thinking about sleeping with this other women from her PAST that means she still has those urges that obviously you can't fill. You and your wife give marriage a bad name.

In my expert opinion it is not cheating unless it draws you away from the other. How can you possibly fill the need she may have for intimate attention from someone of the same sex? It is an enhancement and a person cannot help it if they are attracted to both sexes. She is being a hypocrite though and you are correct. But it is not cheating.

The fact that the question of them winding up in bed together even came up, is a problem. Yes, it is cheating!!!! doesn't matter if they have the right parts or not. Any type of intimacy is cheating!! Why are they going out together if this is her ex-lover, would you let her go if it was a male ex-lover. It's the same thing!
Would she let you go? Good luck!

If it is just sleeping then it is not cheating, whether it is 2 men or 2 women. And sex is sex no matter what as long as you cross that road, there is no turning back, it doesnt have to do with lack of anatomy or whatever cause there are things out there that can be used.

jeez did you marry Clinton?
so does this mean that lesbians who have never slept with a man are virgins until death?
if you only get/give a BJ from/to another man is that not cheating since there was no penetration?

duh, sex is sex, whether it is oral, intercourse, etc etc.

though, my mom always said "eatin' ain't cheatin' "

if you don't find it objectionable then why are you worried that she may be cheating? and if you do find it exciting, why don't you ask if you can get in on it?

It is still cheating in my eyes, because she is being intimate with someone else, and forgetting about you (for the moment.) What if another guy was just to give her oral sex, or just kiss her like females do when being intimate? Still cheating right? I would say. No matter what she is cheating on you, even if they just kiss.

Isn't sleeping with someone - anyone- cheating? You know it counts, or you wouldn’t be asking about it. There are many ways to be intimate with another person, and sex is only one of them. She is having a very intimate relationship with another woman while you are married, and that definitely qualifies as cheating. I think you’re kidding yourself.. or she's kidding you.

It's cheating. Kinda hot, I agree, but it's still cheating.

First, I don't think that only intercourse defines cheating. Second, what gay men do is NOT intercourse, neither has a ****.

Just my $0.02 worth.

It's a nice bit of rationalization on her part, is what it is.

Sorry, but if it's cheating for one to do something with a non-spouse, it's cheating for both.

"Cheating" is not defined by intercourse. Of course, since she's telling you about it and she's not hiding it, by my own personal definition of "cheating" (something you hide from your partner because they would be upset if they knew), it's not cheating at all.
