First of all don't panic please ,you're cool dude , you're awesome!
Then , you don't know what she'll tell you ,or maybe only if you're psychic , then I'm scary ,you can see my mind!!!AAAA!!! I'm kidding sorry.
So , she is shy this is your bonus ,cause shy girls are more cute and If she's so beautiful and you really like her ,then what 're you waiting for?

Maybe she likes you too and only one thing that she needs it's your attention and your frankness!

Instead, be a gentleman by asking her in a nicest way possible. If she rejects, tell her it is okay and respect her decision. Tell her that you know she is shy and you shy too. Instead, you wish to take her out for a dinner so that both of you could get to know each other better.
Be honest and tell her that you really like her as to be a SPECIAL friend at his point! Goodluck.

here's the catch... she is shy.. and you are too.. obviously. Have the courage man.. You'll never know the real answer unless you ask for it. There's no harm in trying. The style of approach will depend on the type of lady.. if she's the shy type, bring it slowly to her, not the macho thing effect. Be sweet and sensible, but not too lame. Be straight to the point but not too agressive. Do it man, before someone does!!!

She might not say no she might have a crush on you and you just don't know so go ahead try it out if you don't ask you have a 1/2% chance she will say yes and a 99 1/2% she will say no if you ask there is a 50% chance she will say yes and a 50% chance she will say no... I would take the 50%

If you don't ask, you'll never know. You said she's shy; this would mean that you'd be the one who'd have to initiate the relationship. If she wants to go out with you, and she's shy, she'll probably be waiting for you to make the first move. Ask her out.

...this is coming from someone who has pretty much given up...but if you don't ask her out, two things will happen...you will hate yourself for not asking and someone else will get to her first...if you don't take chances in life...then life is not worth living...
