If you’re dating someone, and you love them and it’s a good relationship, how much does it matter what other people think? Should you break up if others think it’s wrong, or that you shouldn’t be together? Talking about two adults here. Does it matter if you’re different ages, races, religions, nationalities, etc? If society thinks it’s wrong, does that matter to you?

Zero...in otherwords, Absolutely NOT....you are the one that is dating this individual do not let society or your friends dictate your relationships. If the relationship is indeed good and you love that person, your friends are entitled to their opinion however, its your life and its your opinion that matters....if you are happy who cares what your friends think. Besides, if they don't want to be friends with you because of this guy, then you and your man go other there and make new friends that will accept you both.

I went through a similar relationship I ended it and later regretted it. the only thing I would say matters is religion and values so that if you do make it a long term relationship then you'll start on the same page and yall can grow together.

What other people think is somewhat irrelevant in the long run. In the short run, good friends and close relatives may be able to see something about the mate that is blinding you. Move slowly and be careful to avoid "making a point" by sticking with something that is not right for you.

Here is the thing. If the world doesn't like it, who cares. But, if your best friend, or your mom, or someone close to you doesn't think it's a good thing, maybe you should think about it. They are usually more in tune and not involved with the emotional side, and can see if this person is right for you. My best friend was hinting that I would not last in my recent relationship, I could tell she didn't like him for me. Not that she didn't like him, she said he was a nice guy, but not for me. Well, she was right.... we broke up.

It doesn't matter what people think you the one that has to live with him, and spend time with him. It is hard when your parents or friends don't like him but you have to decide which is more important and hopefully they will be okay with it.

it should not matter what anyone has to say at all. if other people would take time to mind their own buisness they would find out that it takes 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
