Every so often I go to that site and click on a college I never heard of and pick a random name and give a review. Usually they're good reviews.

I graduated from college with a 3.1 in Political Science last year and have been doing negotiations and marketing for a not-for-profit company for a few months. After a year of service I will have the option to take advantage of $5,000/year for grad school and I was thinking an MBA would really help me combined with my work experience.

Do you think with my GPA and major I have a chance of getting into some MBA night programs? My weak spot is math so I would have to focus on a program that is the lightest in that area.

I like helping people, working with different types of people, clerical type work, and I am good with helping sick people. I have been in college for 2 years now, and I still have not picked a major yet.

Why some student majoring in science at prestigious university like Yale, MIT, harvard, U Penn fail to get high MCAT score, while other student who studied in college that I have never heard in my life succeed get better MCAt score . Because the matter is the effort and dedication of studying really hard right?

Hello,
i needed to know, if i took 15 credit hours of independent study college courses (but never went to an actual college), how do i put that on my transfer admission application when i transfer those 15 credits to a physical college and they ask what college/university i previously attended? Do i put Lsu (since the courses are done by and granted by Lsu), or do i put Lsu Independent study?

I'm hoping to get in to the field of health social work. But do not know what career to choose. I have a strong desire to promote healthy behavior, learn about diseases and basically help people. So I'm thinking of getting a joint MSc on Public health(health promotion) and Social work. But I also like to posses knowledge about the treatment part of diseases also. For instance I would like to know how and why cetain diseases occur and how to treat them. Does Health promotion cover all these areas? If not do I go ahead with my chosen area and do my best? or will I be unhappy not doing EVERYTHING that I like to do?
