I graduated from college with a 3.1 in Political Science last year and have been doing negotiations and marketing for a not-for-profit company for a few months. After a year of service I will have the option to take advantage of $5,000/year for grad school and I was thinking an MBA would really help me combined with my work experience.

Do you think with my GPA and major I have a chance of getting into some MBA night programs? My weak spot is math so I would have to focus on a program that is the lightest in that area.

Yes, you can get in with an accredited program.

You should face your fears with math and conquer it. Running away from the quantitative side of business is not a good idea. Business is inherently quantitative.

Your major is irrelevant, since MBA programs are not looking for people who graduated with specific majors, but yes, you can get into many of the part-time evening MBA programs with your GPA (not the most prestigious ones, but that leaves many other schools). The only difficulty is that you also need to take the GMAT, and since your GPA isn't that strong, you would need a good GMAT score (well above the 500 mean) to compensate. The GMAT included math, so there is no avoiding that.
