Well, it's not really a "grade," but traditionally, most people start to live on college campuses during their freshman year of college. Some private schools, like prep schools and boarding schools, have dorms for elementary and high school age children, but if you're talking about living on campus at a university, it's going to be college freshmen and above.

It depends on the school, but where i went to freshman mostly lived on campus then everyone else got tired of the dorms...
