It wasn't my favorite part of the MBA, since my interest is more in the human than in the monetary part of business.

Quite interesting. Basically MBA is about decision making. And in Finance you have to analyze the situation then make the decision.

It's a basic course in managerial finance fundamentals. If you have an undergrad in biz, even outside of finance, it will be nothing new to you. In fact, you can usually waive out of it or take a higher level finance course to replace it.
