Every so often I go to that site and click on a college I never heard of and pick a random name and give a review. Usually they're good reviews.

I'm sure you think you are really funny, but please realize that the fact that these things are public can be very harmful to people and, in fact, could make it difficult for them to get a job. Although we all realize that RMP ratings are skewed, it is hard to ignore them. How would you like it if I randomly sent letters to your employer and a number of other people's whom we had never heard of, and USUALLY they were good, but occasionally they would suggest things which could get you fired?!

Please don't do that. I use prof rating sites to select profs every semester. I learned early in my college experience that a great prof can make all the difference (and a lousy one can too, in the other direction). If people abuse this opportunity to share experiences, we'll be back to the old system of being at the mercy of the draw as to whether or not we get our money's worth. Find a different outlet for your silly urges. Maybe a Beavis and Butthead marathon night with the buddies or something.
