My dad studied theology in a theology seminary in Australia. I'm living in the US and does that mean I am first generation college student? I'm sophomore. I have doubt.

No you aren't. Your parent, by your report, attended a post secondary school.

Since your dad went to seminary school, that counts as college, making you a second generation student. You would only be first generation if no one in your family had completed more than high school level education. However, here we say that people are "First Generation Aggies" if they are the first one in their family to attend Texas A&M University.

If your dad's seminary granted degrees, then no, you are not a first generation college student. However, since your parents did not attend college in this country, you may face some of the same issues that first generation college students deal with, such as not knowing how things are done in a university here.
