I know I don't really need to go to collage, but I want to. What do you think is an appropriate amount of years to go to collage to become a very accomplished writer? Please, no none, or zero answers. Thanks!

ok well, heres the situation... I pretty much have A's in every class except band (yes, band..) I'm really upset right now, and am wondering if colleges care about freshman-- since it will definately wreck my 4.0 GPA. I'm still upset because freshman year is supposed to be one of the easier years, and i blew it..

reason for my grade in Band: the music was not given to us (this year there were too many trumpets), and i could not share with other people because they sat too far away. The problem is, i didnt ask for a copy (its stupid now that i think about it, but at the time i didn't want to bug him and thought he would understand). Theres only one week of school left (finals) and ive asked him if there was something i could do to make up for the days i didnt play, but from the looks of it, he won't give the time to find something for me to do...

I'm 26 and I'm thinking about doing pharmacy, law, or med. I took intro Chemistry and Biology at my state school. My average for those was 3.2. My major was Econ and Math with a 3.5 GPA. If I did pharmacy/med, I'd have to do one to two years more of prepharmacy/med classes and before applying to a school.

I'm a mortgage loan officer, fluent in Spanish and French. Maybe I could volunteer for Medecins sans Frontieres. I'm leaning toward pharmacy. Law/med seem too competitive in school and when you graduate. I'd like to have a relationship and be happy doing my job for the rest of my life and time to run/climb. I don't care about prestige. I'd like good pay (~$80k). I'm a single guy and sort of quiet.

I'd start at 30 if I was a lawyer, 32 for pharmacist, 35 for doctor. Could prospects and salaries for pharmacists be worse in six years? Would language skills be useful/marketable in law? What prospects do lawyers have? What do you lawyers or pharmacists think? Doctors?

Okay, I'm in Honors College at my University, so I have to take two courses (one lecture, one discussion) in 'Human Situation' it's a type of english class (much harder than Freshman English Compsition). Also I'm taking Honors Biology (I'm pre-med, so it'll look good) and a 3 hour Bio Lab. Also, I'm taking Intro into Methods Psych and an hour Lab... andddd, I'm takinng Statistics in Psych.

So listed out, I'm taking:

Human Sit. Lecture (3 hours)
Human Sit Discussion (3 hours)
Honors Bio (3 hours)
Bio Lab (3 hours, but counts as 1 hour)
Intro of Methods Psych (3 hours)
Methods Psych (1 hour)
Stats in Psych (3 hours)
So technically I'm taking 19 hours, getting credit for 16 hours.

I also want to get more involved in organizations I'm in (AAHSA, NSCS, Alpha Lambda Delta) , and I want to work (15 hrs a week)...

Am I taking on too much? Should I cut out a class, though I heard that the two psych I'm taking classes are kinda easy.

Hi, I seem to have a bit of a dilemma going on. I recently applied to UIC for summer session (to get some credit and transfer back to my original institution. Taking Chemistry btw) but i didn't realize how expensive it was. Not to mention that i also feel like i am not going to be able to wake up early (class starts at 9 sharp) and find parking space. From my house to UIC, it's about 40 minutes but since my class starts in the morning, the traffic is just overwhelming. Just yesterday I took my placement test and got in but due to the the fact that i'm still worried about getting there and the tuition, I've considered applying to a community college, Harper for instance. I'm wondering what I should do and will graduate schools look down on me If I choose to attend a summer course at Harper? I would really appreciate it if I recieved postive comments. Thanks.

Ok, I'm going to Kent State-Ashtabula, one of the regional campuses of Kent State University. I was looking at the tuition/fees page, under the regional campuses 06-07(don't have 07-08 up yet) tuition totals. Then, it says, undergrad resident lower division, then it has a list. Then it says undergrad non-resident lower division and it gives the totals for each. Now, I live in Ashtabula, and because this is a regional campus, they don't offer room/board. So how do I know if I'm a resident or not? Are you a resident then if you are from that city or state? Here is the page... http://www.kent.edu/bursar/Fall-2006-Tuition-and-Fees.cfm ... its the regional campuses remember. Tell me whether I'd fall under a resident or non-resident, I'm thinking I'm right with me being resident, but I just want to make sure. Thanks ahead of time

I am currently going into my Junior year of High School. And I want to become a Culinary student in college, planning ahead of course. I want to major in the Culinary arts and possibly minor in some form of other art.
I also want to go to the Art Institute of Cincinnati.

Do you have any other suggestions of good Culinary schools?

And what can I do to become the best candidate for a Culinary school?
