have just finished an HNC in childcare and education. what do i do next what avenues are on offer ..i find this a major problem ..livng in scotland the cut backs for jobs is enormous.. i wont get a job as an EYO so to make the most of my time i want to do something worth while but dont know what avenue to take any ideas /,,, help xx

set up your own childcare business,maybe from home,good luck you've worked hard for it

You may want to take a little break and look else where for work. Or take a year out to travel for a bit before you make the decision of what area of childcare you want to go into. The work will never dry up.

There are many opportunities here in Florida for childcare and education, especially in healthcare and nursing if you are interested in living in the US.

Have you considered working with mentally and physically handicapped children in special schools?My sister worked in one until very recently and found it very rewarding.
