Hello Friend!!!

The best way is to gather a study group.

Don't just read your lecture notes, re-write them, discuss amongst your study group, and teach one another.

This method has the best retention rate, studies have proved this true.

1] Are you a visual learner - do you learn by reading or watching?
2] Are you a verbal learner - do you learn by lecture or verbal explanation?
3] Are you a kinesthetic learner - do you learn by doing?
Study groups work well for the last two groups; not as well for the first two [ we just get annoyed everybody else didn't read as much as we did! ]
a] review every subject every day, starting the first day. If you don't know or don't understand a concept, find out from someone else.
b] review your class notes and syllabus. If something is on the syllabus but wasn't explained in class, read about it in your text. I have had classes when nothing on the exam was from
class notes!
c] eat well the night before. [ fish is good brain food ]
d] get plenty of sleep. Don't wait til the last minute and then cram all night - you will be too tired to take the test. [ studies have proven this ]
e] I always wear an 'energy' color -mine are red, orange, and yellow. [ if you think something helps, it probably does.]
f] PRAY! Dear God, please let everything I know pour out on this paper. And maybe help me guess correctly on the rest.

The best way I know to study for an exam is to review once everynight, only what you did that day, before you go to bed. Also it helps to find ways to apply daily what you learn.
