I failed a full year of Biology, a full year of Algebra two, and Civics my sophmore year.

I made a D in Physical Science my freshman year and a D in Free enterprise my sophmore year.

I'm going to be a junior next year. I live in Louisiana.

I have a 2.3 gpa currently. What can I do to make sure that I'm able to go to a good four year university and actually make something out of my life.

I don't mean getting a doctorate or an MBA or anything. I mean like going back to undergraduate school to major in something else. If you can, do they look at your record from your previous school???

How would I find out which major to apply to at LMU so that I would have a better chance of getting in. My GPA is 2.9 and I received a 27 on my ACT. If you don't understand what I am asking here is an example: University of Illinois is a kind of hard to get into so alot of kids apply for an agriculture major and just swithch majors.

I am joining this university (educational institute sounds better) wherein they provide the oppurtunity to opt from two different universities of America, Detroit city for a BBA program. The universities are: Madonna University and American City University. Well, Madonna University provides an Honors Degree as well in addition to the BBA Degree with 45 subjects and American City University provides A BBA degree only. The fees now: Madonna University is $ 400 per month and American City.... is $300 / month. Which should I go for? The one with Honous degree or just a normal degree? Please help me people. And explain to me what this Honours degree means. Thankyou all Yahoo! users. Love you take care

I graduated H.S. in 2006 June and took 2006-2007 to relax and I will attend college in Fall 2007, I know which college, and I will still live with and my parents will support me until I graduate college in 4 or 5 years. Also,
1. Can you tell me about the process it is after applying and getting accepted, what do you do next, who do you meet with?
2. Can you tell me all about orientation, when is it usually, and what do they talk about, show, etc.?
3. When I chose a major (business), can I chose whatever classes, or do i have to take the ones required, or can I have my schedule made by student services for me?
4. What are all other things I can do to prepare for this fall in college?
Please let me know as much as you can. This would mean a lot to me. Thank you.

He is 19, and he is really struggling in a lot of his classes, but he is really trying. He recently has a lot of problems staying focused and is very stressed out. We went to the doctor and he has some depression and he is taking medication, but he is still really struggling. Some days he comes home crying because the teachers were really mean to him, or it has been very overwhelming, and has been failing some classes and trying so hard, but doesn't know what to do.

If you do well enough academically to be able to get into a selective college, and you know you're going to go to a graduate school anyways, why does it matter where you go for undergrad? If you do very well at an average college and you do well on the GRE or whatever, won't you be able to get into excellent graduate schools?
