I failed a full year of Biology, a full year of Algebra two, and Civics my sophmore year.

I made a D in Physical Science my freshman year and a D in Free enterprise my sophmore year.

I'm going to be a junior next year. I live in Louisiana.

I have a 2.3 gpa currently. What can I do to make sure that I'm able to go to a good four year university and actually make something out of my life.

Buckle down and earn better grades during your junior and senior year. Take your ACT and SAT tests. If you do well, above 20 on the ACT, and above 1000 on the SAT, everything is copacetic.

If you don't do so great on the testing, and you don't pull your GPA up to 3.0 or better, time to change game plans.

Rather than go to a four year university immediately, go to your local community college. While there, work your butt off to earn high grades. Then it will be easier to transfer to a good four year school.

Good Luck. FWIW, I've noticed that the harder I work, the luckier I get.

First of all you would have better thought about gooing to a good 4 years university 3 years ago. To get into college, is like jumping from a barrier, you need to start running before getting so close to the barrier. But, get your hopes up. Never is late, and you can always do what ever you want to. I think, the best option that you have now is to try a community college, then if you really work hard, and you really want to achive your goals, after 2 years you can transfer to the best universities.

because colleges care about your soph. and junior grades, it'll be harder for you. however, they care the MOST about junior grades so if you get a 4.0 next year, you have a chance still.

your fails will hurt you no doubt, but you never know.
get a good sat score. you should start preparing for the sat now.
and in your community, do extra curricular activities.

worse come to worse, you can always go to a community coellge. their acceptance rate is like 99.999%

Go to community college for a year, and then try transferring to a 4-year college if your grades are better.

Do better junior year...that is the grade colleges put the most weight on.

well putting it simple you can get into tech school or community college but heres the thing you will pay for each and every class to catch up... then you can transfer to a four year college and be caught up.. another thing is summer school if you want... so while in high school get it for free.... oh and college dont be intimidated by what school you go to just work hard in all your classes and you will be okay in life... Or go to the apprentice... anyway GOOD LUCK!!!

Well summer school isn't free, but it's a good way to catch up and get ahead, maybe you should look at taking some applied classes to lessen your work load

get into some extra classes if your high school lets you. the extra classes will boost your GPA. and you should join lots of clubs, community service, and sports. that way, you will look special compared to some people, then they'll pick you! good luck<3

Not to be mean mean but you should try harder. You are obviously not trying. I work in a high school and every student that tries gets an A or B,

Do some homework. You should get a C if you turn in every assignment.

Yes, you still have a chance to go to a 4yr university but it wont be a good one. Maybe to a state university?
