So if someone has all A-'s, do they still say straight A's?

My college counts A-'s as 3.7's. I feel like im in some kind of limbo. What are they then?

yep a a is a a if you have a 90 or a 100 it still counts as 4 grade points toward your gpa ( at most schools)

At my school, an A- is an A-, not an A, so it would be worth 3.7 instead of 4.0. But different schools do things differently. I know of at least one school that doesn't have grades at all (Hampshire College, in case you're curious).

You can tell people you got straight As. Different schools treat it differently in terms of your GPA. SOme will give you a 4.0 -- in which case you really can tell people you got As. Others will use 3.7 -- which will bring your GPA down from a 4.0. Still other schools don't have A- as a grade.

An A is worth 4 points where an A- is worth 3.67 points.
