you'll see your image on the back screen, but only for a second. My Kodak takes forever to go back to the "live shot" so I want a new camera with a quicker response time. What do I tell the salesman that I want a quicker....?

I'm fairly experienced with digital SLRs, owning a Nikon D50, Pentax K10D, and currently a Canon 30D over the past several years. Now I'm thinking of purchasing my first film camera. A few obvious choices would be a Pentax Spotmatic or an older Leica Reflex. I'm leaning towards the R4 but curious as to how easy of a first film camera it would be. Any suggestions?

I've wanted to get a Nikon D80 for a while, but I just can't save up $$$ (~$900) to get one right now. Anyway, I've been searching on google, and keep finding sites that promise the D80 for anywhere from ~$250. Are any of them trustworthy?....or they just out there to rip me off in a one way or another?

its a 2.0 GB PNY card and in the camera which is a Canon powershot S215, it says the camera is Locked. HOW DO I UNLOCK IT?!?!!

How do you calculate the difference between film lenses,and digital lenses?When it says 18-70mm on a digital camera lens ,what is it's eqivallancy to a regular lens? Thanks

I was looking to upgrade my digital camera. I want to go the professional route but do not want to spend 2+ thousand on a unit. I have around $1000 to spend. I do not want any auto focus. I am looking for a digital camera for personal use and for taking pictures for my yearbook class.

My parents have told me that I have to buy it with my own money so here are somethings to keep in mind:

*it has to be around 100 dollars! $140 is my VERY max.

*needs to have high resoultion (yearbook pictures have to be good quality)

*i would like it to be a color, prefably pink but it doesn't have to be.

*i have to be able to go any buy it, not order it off the internet (so therefore please no eBay, Amazon, etc)i have a bestbuy, circut city, target, etc around me.

Have any good ones in mind?

I,m going to buy a Sony A100 camera ,i already have compatible lenses from a former Minolta SLR(film) camera.One is the MinoltaAF28-80,and the other a Sigma 70-210mm.However,the camera i want to buy has a kit model for only $50.00 more,than just the body.The kit lens is 18-70mm.Do you think i should get the kit or just the body?Do the kit lenses have the same lens range,as the film lenses?

alright, i bought this camera 2 years ago.
it used to be a really good camera.
but now, it takes pictures by itsself, shuts off when it wants too, and doesnt let me scroll through the pictures, it also does that by its self, then flashes for a picture.
i asked kodak if they could fix it, but they said it would cost 75$, which as a kid ; i dont have.
any ways this could possibly be fixed?

I was just taking pictures with my mums camera and I accidently dropped it now the screens gone all dull and You can hardly see what your taking a picture of but you can still vaguely see it but its not in colour at all, Ive heard of programmes where you can download it and if you plug it in to your computer it sorts out the pixels on your screen. Can anyone send me a link to one or help me with what i should do.
This camera is worth more than my LIFE.
