I'm planning on buying a new digital camera, but I don't know where to look. I know I want it to have:
-Loooooooooooong battery life
-excellent photo quality
-lots of extra features
-lots of megapixels
-slim design
-easy/quick to use

i know im picky, but i have had the worst experiences with digital cameras. I was looking at the Sont CyberPix, and I'm thinking about choosing it, but I want second, third, fourth, and fifth serious opinions

Do you guys know any websites that when you upload pictures from your camera to that website, you pay the money, and then they will send you the pictures via mail to your home?

I have a pentax k1000 and just got a Pentax AF200S flash (that does not have a synch cord input). Basicly I need a working hot shoe but the one that my pentax has I believe is busted. Anyone one of a good adapter that I can use to replace my hot shoe. I seen some on ebay that are hot shoe adapters with a sync cord input but i'm not sure if i can use that input to connect a cord to the adapter and the other end to the pentax k1000 and just slide my flash on top.

How do I get my Pentax AF200s Flash to work on my Pentax k1000? I set the flash unit onto the horse shoe of the camera but when I take a photo no flash pops up. I Set the shutter speed to 60 (where the orange "x" is located), the ISO speeds match up on the flash and the camera, I have tested the flash and it works fine, put brand new batteries too. HELP!!!!

I am trying to figure out what I want in a digital camera. Up until now, I have only had the "ok" quality cameras. The more I take pictures, though, the more frusterated I become with the quality of the image I am getting. I am realllly not fluent in camera speak, so please someone help me!!! I am afraid I will end up with something that will either be too complicated or not the image I want. I need camera 101!!

Hi, I am asking a friend to bring a digital camera back for me from America and want to know if anyone has any suggestions?

I'm not hugely picky but I guess one that is easy to use, durable and has good storage would be nice.

I don't want sony as I have heard they are a rip off.

Can anyone recommend a good camera (price doesn't matter too much as the euro is so strong against the dollar at the moment)

I like photography and I'm familiar with camera functions, but I don't shoot too often so I've no intentions on spending additional on lenses. Plus, I don't really like having an external flash and the bulky size.

I'm currently using a compact and am onsidering getting the canon400D. Given the high price of a DSLR, I was wondering if there's some sort of in-between camera that is more suitable? (aka compact but allows more control)

Btw, is a DSLR better even if used as a point-and-click?

I have a Casio exilim z50 camera.
I am getting washed out images lately. Both on the camera preview screen and in printing. I may have mistakenly changed some settings.

Here is an example of what the problem is.

I was taking pictures of classic cars from about a distance of +- 20 feet.
Far enough to get an entire side of the car in the frame.
If there was a sun glare anywhere on the car, say on the rear fender, that whole portion of the picture was overexposed and washed out.
